Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  First off don't buy this if your looking to heat your whole living room , its made for personal heating in a smaller space or if you have it blowing directly on you from up to about 5 feet. Its a nice and compact, is fairly quiet and puts out a good amount of heat. The only 2 gripes I had was it doesn't remember your last setting, as soon as you turn it on it goes to full heat no matter what. And if you plan on using this on your carpet it may not work because the safety switch on the bottom will just go into the carpet and not depress so you can turn it on. Not deal breakers but something to keep in mind. Other than that it works great.

The heater I received would not function at first. The tip-over switch did not extend far enough below the base, so that when the heater was resting on a hard flat surface, the switch did not get compressed enough to allow the heater to operate. I appreciate having a tip-over switch, but I was lucky to have a small wood block that would fit inside the base and that was thick enough (about 3/8") so that the tip-over switch would be compressed far enough to allow the heater to operate. Once I got it to operate, the heater was good for my purpose, which was to supply a small amount of heat to a bedroom. The heater fan is relatively quiet and the heat output is good.FOLLOW UP: After posting this review, I heard from the seller who sent me a new unit for no charge. The new unit's tipover switch did extend far enough (the difference in the length it extended below the base was only a couple of millimeters ) so that the switch operated properly. Thus, for the prompt customer service and the fact that the seller evidently actually reads these reviews, I upped my rating of the unit from 2 to 4 stars.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  What did I want in a heater? Something small, efficient, and most of all safe. This heater covered all the bases. It is way smaller than an oil heater, it actually has some oscillation to help overcome the small size of the heating element. It fits under a desk if all you want is to heat up your feet. It uses the ceramic heating element which is very efficient. It has a high and a low heating mode. It also has a fan only mode. You can turn the oscillation off if you want it to heat one specific direction. It is strong enough to heat a fairly big room, my bedroom is 18x18 and it worked for me. And it has the neat tip over feature. Imagine your heater was knocked over by a pet and you have carpet, what a danger! This unit uses a pressure switch on the bottom to avoid that problem. Great design, I am very happy with the product.

I was quite pleased with the heater. The office I work in is located in a rather old building with an HVAC system that seems to have one temperature....COLD. The unit worked very well to heat my 18x18 foot office. Until day #120 of ownership....I began to smell a "hot electrical smell" which increased rather rather rapidly. I noted pretty readily that the smell was originating at the heater unit. I unplugged the device from the grounded wall outlet and the smell faded over the next 5-10 minutes. I inspected the filter on the rear of the device and found nothing out of the ordinary. I plugged the device into the same grounded wall outlet and the device failed to turn on. I tried the same procedure at another similar electrical outlet in my office with the same result. The unit appears to be dead.I used the device Monday-Friday for about 4-6 hours per day. I am inclined to believe that this is a reasonable use pattern. The wear and tear on the unit was nothing more than what would be expected. There was no damage whatsoever to the unit and I maintained it exceptionally well.The failure of the device is very disappointing and, considering the price of the unit, the failure is even more frustrating. The reviews indicated what appeared to be a good product. I would not recommend this product to any interested buyer and I would not consider buying this product, again. I would typically tell myself that I should spend more money for a better product...In this case, I spent what I consider to be a more than reasonable amount. The additional expenditure did not translate to a better product.

I got this little heater for my new work shop. So I thought, why not just go ahead and do a review for my YouTube channel “Vans World”. I tested the switch on the bottom that cuts the unit off. I found it worked flawlessly. Then I tested the touch controls. Unfortunately the only way that I found to see what mode it was in was to use my hand and feel. While testing the Fan Mode, High heat and low heat I noticed that the unit puts out more heat on low. I believe the only difference is the fan speed. I used a laser thermometer to test this theory in my YouTube review. This little bad boy puts out over 300 degree temperatures. And on fan mode it does quite well to cool of an area. Checkout my channel to see my review. I used a device to register how much Kilowatts, Amps and voltage this unit uses between modes. Plus what it uses in an hour of running on high heat. I think I hit the jackpot when I bought this unit. I gave it 5 stars. But my overall % rating is 90% satisfied. And that’s because there’s no way to visually tell what the setting is on, high, low or fan mode. If there is a way to tell this, it wasn’t stated in the instruction manual.

It's a small portable heater/fan which makes very less noise. The buttons are quite nice as they are sort of touch buttons. You don't need to press on them in order to activate the functions.For a bigger room you'd be better off with a bigger heater but this is great for small spaces such as small rooms, offices etc. This also has tip-over emergency turn off feature which should be useful provided the cable is a bit on the short side. This is the only flaw i found in this so i rated it 4-stars.
