Alive! Max3 Potency Adult Daily Multivitamin with Iron, 90 ct

I'm loving this so far! I came upon this after learning that I need to be taking specific high-potency vitamins/supplements to help my body regulate itself normally (I had my gallbladder out in 2011 and was NEVER told by doctors about anything involving the weight gain and other issues that come from it). I take 3 other supplements in addition to this that help my body work as if it had a "properly functioning gallbladder." Specifically, the high amounts in these vitamins are to ensure my body stops acting like it's starving (even though I definitely eat), therefore helping to get rid of excess fat. I haven't even been taking these for a week yet and I'm already shedding excess weight. I've never had issues losing weight until 2011, and I'm in my mid-20s. These vitamins definitely feel like they're helping! I see some people complaining about the amounts in these vitamins... let's get real, if you don't NEED max potency vitamins because you're already getting what you need, then don't ORDER max potency vitamins. These are for people that are very clearly deficient. I take 3 a day, all at one time. I haven't noticed any sleep issues, but I usually have issues sleeping every so often, so if it's been affecting my sleep, I haven't noticed it enough to put it out-of-the-ordinary for me. On the downside, because of all the different things in these vitamins, yes they totally reek. It's literally the worst smell I can imagine for vitamins, and I always hold my breath when I take them so I don't smell them... but really, the benefits outweigh it for me. In my opinion, if you need something this strong to help you get healthy again, then smell is just such a minor thing; suck it up and take it! Haha. And yes, the vitamins are also pretty large, and the B-vitamins do turn my pee neon-yellow (probably because my body isn't used to it yet). Overall, the benefits outweigh all of these to me, so much so that I can't even see taking away a star because of it.

This review pertains to Alive Max 3 potency MultiVitamin only. I have been taking this MultiVitamin for over 25 years. It is easy on my stomach. Has many of the active forms of vitamins compared to other Multivitamins. It uses Orchard Fruits and Garden Veggie blend powder per serving. Besides your usual Vitamins and minerals found in most MultiVitamins, Alive also has 6 plant based blends including greens, mushroom defense, omega 3/6/9, and citrus bioflavonoid blend. It also has a cardio blend and digestive blend, among other supplements like Inositol and Eleuthro root. My blood work comes back great (when I consistently take my vitamins), and I can tell a difference from when I take it and when I don't. With that being said, Multivitamins can take a month or longer to really get into your system, so please don't think you'll get an instant feeling with this MultiVitamin or any MultiVitamin for that matter. Some people get lucky, but more often then not, it takes time. The downside is that the pills are large and you have to take 3 a day. However, the other blends, like the 1 a day, doesn't provide you with all of the same goodness as the 3 a day. You can get it with or without iron. I'm anemic, and as long as I take this regularly, I don't need to supplement with another iron containing supplement. All vitamins react differently with different people. However, this is the first Multivitamin I suggest to everyone.

I urge you to do your homework as I did prior to trying this vitamin supplement. I've been taking said product for almost 30 days now and I have not felt so invigorated and full of energy in a long time. Noticed and incredible difference right from the start. I have been taking one tablet with each meal and I feel fantastic both physically and mentally. I have also been able to recall information a lot better as I feel it has added a significant amount of clarity in regards to recalling/remembering and processing information. Even my family and co-workers have noticed a significant different in my pace and enthusiasm. As I said before, do your homework. These vitamins land on a number of lists from reputed sources as vitamins that actually are good for you. That's how I found them. If you're new to daily vitamins (or haven't had one since your Flintstones vitamins as a kid), you may have some of the struggles I had. First off, these things are NASTY! Die-hard health nuts who suck oil out of freshly caught fish may tell you otherwise, but for the regular person with a normal gag reflex, these are gross. It doesn't help that they're huge. Again, that's relative, but they are by far the biggest pill I've tackled and the recommended daily dose is 3 pills! I had to make sure I'd eaten food before or at least with these, otherwise I felt nauseous. Once, I took these without food right before an intense bike ride. By the time I reached my destination, I spent 10 minutes dry-heaving in the bathroom. With all that said, you're probably wondering why I still take these. Firstly, because they seem to improve my energy and help me feel better. Since I'm certainly missing important nutrients in my diet, it's comforting to fill in the gaps with these. I was very skeptical about the energy boost claims and tried to treat the vitamins as though they were merely a placebo with no real impact. I couldn't keep up my denial though. I felt better when I took these than when I didn't and since I need energy, but don't want to use caffeine, these make sense. Also, as gross as they are, I've gotten used to them and they don't bother me anymore. I say give them a try, but take them with food and drink them with milk to mask the taste. Hopefully that's helpful.

I take these multi's every day and they make a HUGE difference for me in helping clear up my skin! I'll be straight with you, these are disgusting and large vits, and you have to take 3 of them daily (I find apple juice hides the taste reasonably.) however I have noticed a big difference taking these as opposed to the opti-women vits, which were also disgusting but didn't help my skin at all. As someone dealing with adult acne for the last two years, I was desperate for something to help my skin! I've tried countless creams, serums, peels, masks, washes, sprays, essential oils, etc until my wallet cried.. and NONE of them helped! My skin was horrible, inflamed, utterly embarrassing as a working adult, and painful to boot. (The kicker was many days it hurt to smile! If you've been there you know how discouraging this is!) My skin was so terrible a coworker anonymously left proactive on my desk at work (the turd!!). After countless wasted dollars and months of frustration I've FINALLY got my skin under control and milk thistle was a huge part of that. I'm sharing what has worked for me in hopes of helping other people who H A T E their skin. -Topically, I ONLY use Niacinamide Vitamin B3 Cream Serum 5% by Skin Daily. No washing, no scrubs, no masks-- pretty much caveman status. A drop goes a long way so the bottle will last a while. I'm never oily when using this unlike a lot of other products I tried. It's really improved the texture of my skin, smoothing and plumping (is that a thing?). I think it has also helped with some of the hyper pigmentation as well. The only other topicals I like as much are aztec/cider vinegar face mask and honey/cinnamon/nutmeg mask. I used to do one of those masks EVERY DAY in hopes of a miracle for my skin :( but now I don't need them. Unfortunately it is a little pricey but if you're like me you'll pay whatever it takes (well, maybe not a yacht) to have clear skin. -Internally: Every day I take gaia milk thistle (to fight inflammation---game changer!x3), nature' way alive! women's multi (warning it tastes super nasty but is bearable with fruit juice x3), align probiotic (x1), and naturemade fish oil pills (x3). Nothing helped me clear up like taking these supplements! I would say I am 95% clear on them and improving. Before these I cut out bread, potatoes, pasta, chocolate, dairy, and most other glorious foods in hopes of helping my body to no avail! I tried vitex/chasteberry, inositol powder, fermented cod liver oil in cinnamon tingle (still puking), synthetic vit e, maca root, hyper biotics, opti-women, turmeric, and countless more with little to no success. (note: I also tried Jarrow's formula milk thistle, and while that worked OK I find gaia is way more potent.) These days I am still conscientious about what I eat but not militant about food like I was when my skin was so horrible. Sugar and caffeine make me more inflamed so I do moderate my intake of those. If you can do nothing else I would recommend the gaia milk thistle. (Amazon has the best price I have found-but if you're desperate Whole Foods has it for like $40). Anyone with serious acne has an inflammation problem that they may nor even know about, and the milk thistle was huge in getting that under control for me- my skin was WAY less red and inflamed within days of starting it. I hope this helps anyone with skin issues looking for an alternative to meds or BC or SA/BP for managing their skin issues :) Best of luck getting clear!

We really like these vitamins. High levels of nutrients and high quality. The odor and taste are mild. Value for money is great, knowing we are getting quality ingredients and sufficient daily values.

I’ve been taking these for years and they work for me. I gave some to a colleague who had trouble with the high dose of B vitamins, but I have no issues.

These are special vitamins! I can literally feel the difference in my energy level and sense of wellbeing when I take them. I have taken them for over 10 years now. Highly recommend!
