They're nice, but one of mine is cracked and unusable. The seller requires the buyer to pay return shipping AND a 25% restocking fee. These are heavy and expensive to ship. Not cool.

i believe this has to do with the pandemic and Varadek is not able to manufacture anymore. I was sent the planter without the hardware to hang it on the rail. This is my second order from Amazon and the first was perfect. I have written and tried to call both Amazon Customer service as well as Varadek directly but phone does not work. Not normal times. I cannot return because they have a huge restocking fee. Hopefully someone will respond when they are able. NOTE: Varadek did raise all prices $30 during pandemic not an honorable or legal practice.

These are not window boxes to hang under your window, they are way too heavy, they're planters for the ground. Even though they came with padding the boxes were shipped inside each other and the corners of the top one we're scuffed. Returning them you lose a bundle, (shipping and restocking fee -whatever that means?) I should have just donated them.For a $119.99 purchase can someone please explain how my refund came to $10.60?

Both window boxes came in together, one of them had the corner broken off, it was a clean break so I was able to glue it back on. They are very sturdy and a plug underneath which when removed becomes the drainage hole. They are perfect size and depth for my spring/winter display, bulbs are planted 6 inches deep and potted plants are on top, the length of 36 inches gave me many options, which I loved. They are well worth the price as they are going to last a long time, I have had many compliments on how pretty they are filled. Great buy for me.I do think the corners should be protected during shipment, even if it's just a piece of heavy duty cardboard.

This planter is a great size and very sturdy. It was lacking a hole in the bottom middle for drainage, which I’m sure would be for plants that need to retain water longer, but since it will be outdoors all year I drilled an extra hole so water would drain out of this section too. This planter is well made and the design created during casting is very pleasing to look at. It was more expensive than I would liked to have paid, but it seems you can’t buy any planter at a reasonable cost anymore. At least this is well made and should last a very long time.

The container has two partial dividers that extend only about 1/3 of the way up - and the end sections each have a drainage hole, but the middle does not. This means that one could plant one type of plant (such as begonias that do not like much moisture) at each end, and put another type (such as hosta or small hydrangea, or fern) in the center section which does not have a drainage hole. VERY HELPFUL! The drainage holes are easily plugged with the cork from a wine bottle should you want to use the container indoors and need to not have it drain on your floor. This is a very attractive contemporary planter.

I absolutely love these!! The light grey color matches my front door and shutters. I used a railing attachment kit so I could place them at the lower portion of our wrought iron railing and secure them on the lower ledge. There were several comments about the middle portion not having a drainage hole which prompted me to drill one… an easy task. I filled the bottom with river rocks to promote some space for drainage and give the planters some weight to anchor them on the ledge. They are mounted backwards to accommodate the two metal arms upon which the boxes rest. I am very happy with them. They hold a LOT of flowers and ilI will enjoy them all summer!

These planters are just as pictured. Very well made with center gussets to keep them from bowing under the pressure of the soil/plants like cheaper models. Well worth the money. My only complaint is that the gussets make for 3 sections in the bottom of the pot, there are holes on the outer ones but not one in the middle. That was kind of a bummer. I was hoping for a little better drainage.

I expect they will last several years. They are a heavy flexible plastic. One thing to be aware of is that the listed dimensions are for the top. Be aware if you are looking to fit them to an existing bracket. I ended up having to put some wood on my brackets for them to sit on, as the bottom is a fair bit narrower than the top.

Exactly as described. I used them to grow tomato and lettuce on my deck as I didnt want a wooden container to leak out the bottom. My plants are doing well I these.

The quality/design/colour and shipping was 5 star. I definitely would order again.
