Best Invention Since Sliced Bread?
As soon as I saw these I thought, "I freaking have to have that!" I mean, what sane person doesn't want to combine cleaning and power tools?!? It seemed like an awesome idea. And as soon as the package arrived, the main brush went straight on my drill for some heavy-duty cleaning.First, I started with the linoleum on the kitchen floor. We are not clean freaks like we probably should be and our floors only get mopped maybe every two weeks- they "looked" pretty clean before I started blasting away. I spritzed a little Pine Sol on the floor and started brushing away a few minutes later and the floors turned about 4 shades whiter. Huh...so that's what they were supposed to look like...who knew? With my new-found passion for cleaning, I spotted the sliding glass door frame next. Even though it's aluminum, there were some clear dirt/grime stains that were perfect for the little round brush to attack. At first it didn't do much and I realized that you have to spray surfaces down before going into attack mode....even if it's just water. Once the surfaces were wet, the grime didn't have a chance. I proceeded onto the bathroom sinks, showers, etc. and these brushes just chewed it's way through dirt/grime like nobody's business. I'd say on average from cleaning by hand, these brushes are 4-5 times faster.Negatives? Okay, there is one....but only if you're stupid like me. If you're going to spray down something serious like Mean Green or Purple Power and then attempt to clean it with your cordless drill, be prepared for some serious blow-back! That means safety goggles with clothes that can take a spatter or two without hurting your feelings. I used bleach on my kitchen counter tops and within seconds, my new Nike shirt had a thousand little bleach dots on it. That's completely on me though for not thinking the situation through. After cleaning for about 30 minutes, your drill will heat up and begin to protest- that's maybe the only other con. You could probably clean all your kitchens and bathrooms in that time though with these attachments under normal circumstances- a full shower with a bath tub takes maybe 2-3 minutes max....and that's getting it perfect. You could literally do a quick clean or unexpected company in 20-30 seconds with these attachments and most wouldn't be able to tell the difference. One last thing- after about an hour total of cleaning, the main round brush still looks like new. These are supposed to be medium bristles for general cleaning but they're still very stiff, so this set should get you months of heavy duty cleaning (or years or normal usage). You simply can't go wrong for the price and I'll buy a set of these for each male family member for the holidays. In summary- I freakin' love these brushes and my wife does too! They're manly enough for me to feel cool while cleaning yet my wife can use them with the drill just fine. You'll actually look for stubborn areas to clean because they're so powerful yet easy to use.

Growth spurt in succulents after 11 days
I bought this light on Aug 18 because one of my succulents (Echvaria "topsy turvy" in the far left of the pic) was starting to "stretch". Even though it gets very bright sun in the window it was always leaning toward the sun and the bottom was becoming sparse. Now, on Aug 29, I can see the light has made a huge difference. The growth rate has really picked up (even though it's already a fast growing succulent) and the leaves are changing shape to what they should be. In the top 'before' pic you can see the new leaves are bending upward but the bottom leaves are spread flat. In the bottom 'after' image you can see the new growth is keeping the upward shape. This is because it has proper light. The plants in the middle and right are slower growers in general, but I'm quite pleased with the amount of new growth in such a short time and especially on the middle plant, the recovery from stretching. The instructions say to keep the light 30 cm away from the plants, which I did at first, but I found my succulents were still bending toward the sun. Now I have it about 6" above them. They still sometimes lean a little and need rotating but it's much less now. The timer is really handy so I can set it to come on during the day when we're not home to see the "purple sun". It is kind of hard on the eyes and even though it says it's not harmful, I don't recommend using it in dark spaces where you'll have to look at it or gaze at your plants while it's on. Your eyes perceive colors differently after looking at it (everything looks green) so I imagine it isnt good to do too often.I highly recommend this light for any plants you might have, especially if you live in Canada - winter is coming.

Im impressed with this unit's low energy consumtion. - Philzon 600 watt led grow light -
I received the phlizon 600 watt led grow light in record time, in secure and unmarked packaging and in working order. Currently only growing green onions and basil with it and with success, and will also try later to grow other vegetables as well with it. But what im realy impressed with this unit is it's low energy consumption. I put this unit to a test in it's various settings using a. - kill a watt meter - and here are the results: This unit sports two light switches, one for vegging (blue light) and one for blooming (red light). You can turn either on by itself, or turn them on together. When i turned the vegging light on by itself: 120 volts, hertz 60 cycles, watts fluctuated between 51.1 w - 51.3 w, amps read 0.42 . kwh 0.01. Now when i turned the blooming switch on by itself: 120 volts, hertz 60 cycles, watts fluctuated between 50.5w - 50.7w, amps read 0.42, kwh 0.01. Now when i turned both switches on at the same time: 120 volts, hertz 60 cycles, watts fluctuated between 98.6w - 98.9w, amps read 0.82, kwh 0.01. I hope that this information is of help to you to make a decision if this particular unit is right for your needs in energy consumtion.
