Great Shoes
These are a super casual wear for my husband. He said they were comfortable. He did say they were a little narrow compared to previous pairs but it didnโt hinder the fit. He wears a 12 and the size was spot on.

Great shoe
I bought these again for my husband because he says they are the best fitting and comfortable shoe. I donโt mess with a good thing.

Top quality and fit is fine
These are the Sperry classic. I have some Sperry sneakers/shoes too. Always good quality. I have seen comments on sizing. Yes that did concern me as I was ordering. These are NOT too tight (size 12 normal width). That said - if I do wear an ankle sock with them I would make sure it was on the thin side. Overall - quality and style that I expect from Sperry.

Good looking shoes, though you can barely see the color. May hurt your foot before break-in
Pics: 1- Shoes in natural light, you can't see the red at all. 2- Damage to my right foot from wearing the shoe for a few hours in 2023. 3- The shoes 2 years later in 2025, you can see the red in this light. Pros: Look good, comfortable enough. Can dress up or down. Very durable as I've had them two years and they are doing great (though, they also are very slow to break in....) Cons: These seem too tight near the toes - or at least on mine the right one is always pressing in against the base of my big toe. Picture 2 shows that it actually cut in to my foot to the point of blood after wearing a few hours. 2 years later it's broken in enough that it only leaves my foot a little red there after hours. The shoes fit fine and are easy to take on and off so it's not like I bought them too small. Plus my left foot is perfectly fine (I'm assuming my feet are slightly different sizes, not the shoes) Things to consider: I really liked the shoes having a slightly red color to them, unfortunately that color is almost completely missing from the actual product. You can see it in perfect lighting and that's about it. In my picture with more natural light you can't see the color at all, but the yellowish light lets you see it. Ultimately I like these shoes and would buy them again if they ever wore out... I'd just order a larger size.

Comfortable and Sporty!
Ordered these for my hubby in White and he just loves them. Soft, buttery, comfortable leather with a great look. I was worried they would be too white (like Cousin Eddie on National Lampoonโs Vacation๐คฃ) but they are not; they are off white and look very sporty. Perfect for summer dinners out! Highly recommend

Comfortable boat shoe that can be worn all day long!
My previous pair of "Boat Shoes" which I purchased more than 10 years ago had finally lost their battle with life. They served me well and were my favorite pair of shoes to just slip on and go. So when it came to replacing them I had many doubts. One - the brand that I had previously purchased seems to be almost impossible to find these days. Two - they don't seem to make quality shoes anymore... sad. So my search went on. I visited local shops and looked at every brand I could. None of them seemed to match what I had until I found the Sperry Top-Sider. Not only was the style almost identical, but the quality was very much present! None of my local shops had the color style I wanted, so I jumped on trusty Amazon and found the exact color and style I wanted. Usually I have to break these types of shoes in before I go barefoot... with these, I wore socks with them for one day and in a rush forgot about them being new and jumped into them barefoot on day 2. Wore them all day and did not have any problems. The leather didn't bleed at all onto my feet and the feel was perfect. I wore them all day without any issues. The next day I drove for almost 8 hours in them and they were so comfortable that I never had to adjust my feet to remain comfortable. I can't say that for many shoes and the heels seem to stick out too far and cause a weird ankle position that isn't comfortable for driving. These were just perfect. I then wore them on a week long beach vacation and found them to be the right shoe for the task. Great quality, great durability (so far) and very comfortable!

Huge quality drop
Quality is way down from before! I've worn Sperrys for decades and they've always been well made. The last pair I bought from the Sperry store on Amazon had cheap thin leather laces and a much less durable sole and the color was lighter than before. I specifically bought the Sahara color. Since the company was bought last year the quality has dropped significantly. If you're able to find older stock you'll probably be fine. From reading countless blogs it seems that in 2024 Sperry was bought and changed their logo from a sailboat in a diamond (the well made shoes) to a sailboat in a circle (the new lower quality shoes). They also stopped putting the logo on the side of the shoe near the eyelets for the laces. Though this last pair I bought clearly showed the old logo in the Amazon pictures in both back of the shoe and on the side of the shoe, what they sent was the new version, the lower quality version. I'd give the Sperry store one more chance except that I also have bought and returned two other pair this fall in a different color. Both of these other pairs were actually the older better model but both time they sent the wrong size. If I buy Sperry again, and I really hope I can, it will only be from a brick and mortar store where I can see them in person first. I'm a huge Amazon customer buying almost everything here, but three trips to return three mistakes from the Amazon Sperry store has me feeling done.

A preppy classic at an affordable price!
Iโve always wanted a pair of top siders. Iโve been wearing a lot of moc-toe loafers and boots, but I didnโt have anything casual enough to wear with shorts and still look put together enough for a nice dinner. Proโs: The toe box is nice and wide, toes. Lace system goes all the way around the back. Itโs a true moccasin construction, stitched through to the sole. Very comfortable. More casual than a loafer, more formal than a sneaker. Very lightweight. A great value at $100. Cons: The sole is of course pretty thin, and I donโt know how comfortable these would be if you had to stand around all day in them. The insole, while contoured is a little thin and flimsy. Iโd like to put my own insole in these, but Itโs glued in. Iโm. Sure they should pull out easy enough. Iโm guessing they do that to keep the insole from shifting around. All in all, Iโm going to stick with my 5, because I knew what they are when I ordered them, and they exceeded my expectations at $100. A very versatile, and comfortable preppy classic.

Best shoe ever.
Lovely shoe.. Been wearing these since the 90's.. It's pretty much the only shoe I wear. Proper Sperry's last for ages (years). Cheaper imitations fail as quick as 6 months. Once they've been worn for a few weeks, they feel like comfortable slippers. Never had a shoe more comfortable. They are that good I only wear socks when it's cold. My advice - get two (or more) pairs and never wear a pair two days in a row. collectively, they last longer as the days 'breather' lets the shoe recover. The pair these are replacing are over 4 years old, been worn every other day and it's only that the sole is getting a little thin that demands the replacement. Watch out for the sizing! the shoes are labelled (in white inside the tongue) in US sizes. UK sizes are one down (UK10=US11) I normally a UK10/Wide, whereas in these I'm a US11/Medium.. Any decent shopping centre (eg: Bluewater) will have these in-store for you to try on. Go for the slightly snug fit as the shoe will stretch slightly to perfectly mould your feet. I find getting them wet/damp and wearing them for the day results in a perfect fit. (only advised in warm weather) Never had the stitching come apart Never had the sole split Never had the sole come away from the shoe
