Nice retractable spring balancer
I use it to hold my large bird feeder. I would cautioned when you’re adjusting the tension. Make sure that you are holding the retaining pin n don’t let the spring loose when tightening it can hurt you. It works great and so far it has held up to the weather and the environment.read the instructions well. I recommend it. Take care n be safe.

Bulky and Heavy
Used it to suspend Tesla charging cable. Very heavy. Should have ordered a smaller one. It reels all the way in; no way to make it stop midway. Other manufacturers have a better and non bulky design.
