Consistent quality over 20 years.
I purchased the same corkscrew at a Vineyard about 20 years ago. After 20 years of use, it still looks great but one of the pins became a bit loose and falls out once in awhile. Even though I just tap the pin back in with a hammer, I decided to see if I could get a brand new one on Amazon. I was amazed to see that the identical corkscrew is still available. When I received the new one, I was even more amazed to see that 20 years later the company still produces the same solid, high quality construction. As you can see in the picture, the only difference between the brand new one and the old one is 20 years worth of patina.

I have not used this yet. But, when I opened the amazing packing I was surprised at the quality. It is gorgeous and heavy duty.

Plastic Insert Comes Off
Works well and is very sturdy, however, the plastic insert tends to pop out and stick to the wine bottle opening when I de-cork my wine. Would be perfect if Botticello could fix this annoying undocumented feature!

This was actually a replacement for one I lost somehow and I liked to never found another, but I'd had that corkscrew for a long time and I really liked that corkscrew. So I was VERY happy to find it here. It came right away and works just like the old one. I don't why, but I really dig this corkscrew. It works perfectly every time and looks really medieval doing it.
