Klein Tools 5715 PowerLine Mobile Phone Holder, Black Nylon, Large

This product was a disappointment for me. The first issue I have is the size. I ordered the Large and it said large on the packaging. But it doesn't match the measurements posted on Amazon which is, "It measures 6-1/2 inches (165 mm) long by 3-5/8 inches (92 mm) wide." My Galaxy Note 3 is only about 5 inches long and I could barely close the strap over the top. Also my phone measures about 3-5/8 inches wide. When I insert the phone into the pouch it pushes out the sides and you lose a lot of depth. (meaning the thickness of the pouch changes) The pouch also has a weird shape to it. They seem to be selling this as a phone holder but it isn't really shaped for most smart phones. It is a little on the round side.Second issue is the material, it just feels cheesy. I thought it was going to feel more like other cases I received from Klein. I thought the Cordura would have a more rugged feel to it.The last issue I have is with the belt clip. It seems kind of thin and cheaply made. It is kind of sharp on the edges and I could see it cutting into the belt over time. I wish I could send it back without having to pay shipping. It's hardly worth the hassle of returning for the few dollars I would save after shipping.

Finally!!!!! This case (make sure you order large.. they come in sizes) will allow my iphone4 w/ an otterbox to slide in and out one handed!! also clip is very positive!! I clip it on my jeans .. no belt and it doesn't go anywhere till I pull it off!! I'm sure an iphone 6 plus would fit in this case.. just not sure if it could have the otterbox on it or not. Maybe somebody else can say. I have looked for a case that would fit my phone in the otterbox for years.. I have got some I stretched to make them fit.. This is the first one that is big enough!! And it appears to be built well. But after all it is a Klein!! Looks good too

Had for 2 months. Went through 3 week paper machine shut down and cleared brush on half acre of land. Never came off the belt nor has any of the stitching came out. The velcro flap is quite long and has presented no problems with staying closed. It is large enough that i can easily get my Moto X out quickly. The only issue I see is that the back side does not have the soft lining that the front side does. This is an issue because I prefer to place the phone with the front to my body to best protect it from the rough elements that i work in. It is strictly a work item as the appearance is not Sunday dress.

Klein Tools has put together a good phone holder case. However, for me, the case needs a loop (or better, two of them). This clip is strong, and under most circumstances will not come off the belt. But, when it got tangled up in my seatbelt, it did come off my belt. Given the overall quality of this Klein product, I sure wish they made a case to fit the Otterbox Defender (this one is a little large) and that they added loops to the product.

I have an otter box on my samsung galaxy S3. I wanted a belt case, but all I've seen only work with phone not in a protective case, and their protection seems quite a bit less than otter box. Also, others seem to have weak belt clip and I am too concerned it would fall off my belt. This Klein Tools is nice. It is a bit over sized and could probably fit 2 galaxy s3 face-to-face in it. But phone slips in and comes out easily, velcro closure is strong enough so it does not fell like it will open by itself, and belt clip is plenty strong.

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S3 cellphone which was much larger than my previous phone so I needed a new holder. I did a search & came across this holder by Klein Tools. It's plenty big enough for my phone,in fact I could put 2 phones in it comfortably & even a spare battery. The phone is held securely in place by the flap which has a strong velcro closure. There is also a very strong metal belt clip which holds the case firmly to my belt. I'd definitely buy this case again & I highly recommend it.

The larger size makes this useful for carrying multi-tools such as your Leatherman or other size tools that are 'portable' but really too large for a pocket so you'd rather have them on your hip. If you use this you'll forget it's there until you need it. Has held up to daily use longer than expected.
