As always Swami Prabhupada never ceases to amaze me with his inexhaustible devotion and his profound knowledge. The Perfection of Yoga is basically a summary of the teachings of Sri Krishna Bhagavan to Arjuna in the Bhagavad-Gita - with Prabhupada's commentary of course, which is always so useful. His love of God could never be denied, and he inculcates this in his audience as well.Jai A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada!

I chose a high rating because this is a golden classic of Srila Prabhupada. It contains nuggets of Vedic wisdom.

This little booklet is a gem. I highly recommend it!

you don't have to buy this book, just go down guadalupe street in austin and eventually someone will harass you into donating for it. it talks about how the western world is doing yoga all wrong and that we should be in a "lasting, loving union with the supreme." some things about self-realization make sense, other things sound like creepy brainwash. it's mainly about this religion. i've never been exposed to this religion, so i was extremely confused

I am a follower of Lord Krishna, but I can't accept this book as is. Look beyond ISKON view and you will see why. The author does not have really any answer about Yoga. He keeps saying only one thing in the book, you need to think about Lord Krishna in everything you do. That's just not possible practically speaking in this world. Yes, you believe in The God and are forever thankful to The God at every step of your life. But to call out Yoga as just thinking about God can't be true. Lord Krishna never said this, it is just the author's interpretation.
