OMG, this took 5 min to install after watching a you tube video and restored the hood rise to new or better condition. It was falling before and had to keep it open with a stick when changing oil or other maintenance. Now it literally goes up by itself. I can't believe no mechanic who worked in the car mentioned I could fix this for less than $20 and 5 min.

Fit perfect..Bought it for my Infiniti FX35 easy to install a bit firm at first with little pressure I was able to close the hood. I would recommend buying this item it worth it.

Very easy to install. I leaned the hood on my shoulder as I removed one of the old ones. With just one side installed, it was strong enough to hold the hood up by itself so I could install the second one. The are VERY stiff with both installed. Hopefully they last a while.

2008 Infiniti FX35 Fits and works well on car but very stiff. Don't know if it has a little more give down the line but it works for what I needed. 4/5 for fitment and use. Easy to install. Slide the lock clip up just a little and snaps right in and then release. -1 for firmness. Takes a lot of effort to bring the hood down now.

Exactly what they should be

This item fits my vehicle perfectly and with little effort to install. The force on these pistons are very strong and will require some effort to close the hood, which is a good thing...the hood is guaranteed to stay up when open. Also, the price was good for a non OEM part. Cons, none.
