Can it be use on hair?

Probably, but why?  I like vitamin e oil if my hair is very dry but I would only use it before washing it.  I would use olive oil the same way.  I don't know if an expensive olive oil would be much better than a cheaper one, but that's only a conjecture since I have not done it.

It's dark glass and a bit tall - tall and rather narrow.  It's well made with an insert that makes it easy to pour.  I tried to remove insert for another bottle but could not.  I would not have anything but glass for any quality oil.  Hope that helps.

Organic, cold-pressed, unrefined?

Oro Bailen is no doubt one of the best olive oils in the US market today. Although it's not technically Organic it is made in the South of Spain in natural surroundings and with a high degree of environmental concern. Cold-pressed is an obsolete expression valid when olives were pressed in rustic equipment without means to control the temperature of the process and when hot watter was used to increase the oil output of olives. Today, any high-end extra virgin olive oil is made in a way that temperature never rises above 27ºC; otherwise, there is no way to achieve high-end quality. I prefer to use cold extraction. For a cold extraction olive oil the temperature of the product is automatically maintained at all times bellow the 27ºC mark. This is the case with Oro Bailen. By definition, a real extra virgin is not a refined olive oil. Refined olive oil is made from olive oil that is not good for human consumption and that then is processed chemically to get rid of what is called "defaults". A refined olive oil has no aroma. Oro Bailen is not refined. Oro Bailen is a natural extra virgin of extra high quality that keeps wonderful aromas of green grass, artichoke, tomato, almonds... Aromas you would enjoy having it in your plate.
