It's a nice game for 2 people. Lots of options, we like to spend our evenings playing it.

面白すぎる 買って損はしない！

英語版を買ってしまって結構苦労しました。 多言語版は英語版に千円プラス。 ただ、多言語版もルール本が日本語なだけでカード類は英語です。 なぜかこのゲームには日本語ルールのPDFがネットに載っていたのでそれをダウンロードしてなんとか事なきを得ました。 しかし、白黒印刷だとカードの色がわからずこれまた大変。 英語版のルールと照らし合わせながらみていたので、やはり多言語版の方をオススメします。 ゲーム内容については２人対戦ゲームとしてはなかなか手間がかかっていて面白かった。 けど、中級者向けです。 ルールを熟知してない人同士でやると何がどうなってるのかルール本見ながらやることになるので、わりとグダって初心者は投げることになるかも。 「もう一回やってみよう」 といってくれるような根気の良いパートナーがいないと厳しいかもしれません。 やることはカードを交互に引いていくだけなのですが、カード内容が多くどれを引くのが効率的なのか、相手の戦略を邪魔できるのかというのはカードの内容をお互い同じくらい把握してないと面白くないと思います。 資材、得点、商業、文明、戦術、ギルドとカードの種類も多いので分類や把握が大変。 また、お金と得点の数字の見分けがしにくい。 商業、ギルドのカード、文明チップのアイコンの意味がわかりにくい。 ただで購入できるカードの連携もあるけど、どの世代で出るかいちいちルール本を見る必要がある。 など欠点も結構あります。 覚えるまでが大変で、割とスルメゲー。 ２人で遊んでいると下地を整えて、上位カードを取っていくところがなんとなく宝石の煌めきを彷彿させるものがあります。 似てるかって言ったらそこまで似ていないのですが、考えるのが好きな人はいいかも。 ワンプレイは思ったよりも早く、慣れた人がやったら20分くらいかな。

箱が酷く潰れてました。 また、カードの印刷品質が悪いです。 複合機でコピーしたレベル。 その差は多言語版と比較すると一目瞭然。 カード表面にも傷がついてました。

7 Wonders Duel s'est imposé comme notre jeu de société préféré à deux. Contrairement à beaucoup de jeux pour duo, celui-ci offre une vraie profondeur stratégique, avec plusieurs voies de victoire possibles : militaire, scientifique ou civile. Les parties durent environ 30 minutes, ce qui les rend faciles à enchaîner sans que ce soit trop long. Le matériel est de très bonne qualité, les cartes sont agréables à manipuler et les illustrations soignées. La règle est accessible rapidement même pour des joueurs peu habitués aux jeux de gestion, tout en gardant assez de subtilité pour rester intéressant après de nombreuses parties. Un excellent achat pour les soirées à deux, aussi bien entre adultes qu'en famille.

Great game, if you love 7 wonders or you'll like this.

An excellent two player strategy game, feels completely fresh after dozens of matches. You take turns choosing cards to take (or sell) to add buildings to your civilization, each with its own cost, requirements and benefits. You also have access to Wonders, which you choose from a pool of options at the beginning. They require a lot of resources and the sacrifice of a normal card in exchange for powerful effects. Over three rounds, you're aiming for one of three victory conditions, while trying to stop your opponent from doing the same: military conquest, scientific advancement, or simply having the highest score based on a range of factors of the first two weren't achieved. Once you get the flow of the game and are familiar with the card's functions, gameplay is fast and the three rounds pass in no time. The cards are beautifully illustrated and manage to communicate all the information needed in simple symbols, though there are also reference guides in the box if you need clarification. I've never played the original 7 Wonders to compare, but this is a seriously well-designed and elegant strategy game. From the first card draw, you always have to balance what you want with reducing opportunities available to your opponent. There's this constant to-and-fro tension which makes the “Duel” name very apt. No system in the game is complicated, and yet the strategy that emerges from it is: surely the mark of great design.
