Great baseball hitting tool for serious hitters
Great machine, well made & you get a ton of balls, 50 or so. Price was the same here & other sites so I at least got free, fast shipping on Amazon. Definitely a professional level training device. Balls do come out fast, but you can adjust speeds & types of pitches. It has switches in the back that you toggle up or down to produce a different pitch or speed. That's a little hard to figure out at first. You also need to figure out the proper distance, that can also be a little tricky & you need a long extension cord. I think it has a battery but haven't tried it yet. It is pretty consistent once you get it going. and it has a warning light to let you know when a pitch is coming. that is helpful. Only problem is picking up all the balls after you hit or miss. Definitely a back workout. Its a great tool to help with contact and reaction time. I would recommend it for serious baseball players.

Perfect
I'm a former division one baseball player that grew up with a batting cage in my backyard. I've hit off of every pitching machine ever. For the price this is the best I have ever seen. It is super versatile. You can hit with it, you can practice catching with it, and we even set it up so it throws ground balls for my kids. It pitches consistently within the strike zone without hitting the same spot over and over again. It is light easy to set up and simple to work. It seems to be a very high quality and is an excellent value for the money. It throws a great left-handed and right-handed curveball. The battery life was excellent for us too. You can adjust the speeds easily. My 4-year-old daughter hits off of it and it can speed up enough that a grown man would struggle to keep up with the pace. Buy it.

Perfect machine for the money!
Much more economical version of the brand name green one. If you ever wanted it but couldnโt afford it this is the route to go. Has enough features to build young ball players. Can go anywhere. And it could be setup in a basement, garage, even a large living room and work fine. It seems well built however it needs to be handled properly to last over time. Donโt just use it for hitting. Work on catching with it. Barehanded or with a finger glove. Great for catcher drills behind the plate too. Wish I had bought one years ago.

Happy that I purchased this product.
I have been struggling to stay connected on my swing, but ever since I bought this product I no longer struggle on my swing. The weight of the ball feeder is about 3kg. The quality of the product felt very high quality and stable. But one bad thing about this product is that itโs kinda loud. If you want to practice batting in door for you or your kids, this is a great product within the price range.

Has been good for indoor play/practice
Has been good for indoor play/practice. A setup in the basement with a 30 foot distance between machine and hitter has worked out well for an eleven year old intermediate level baseball player. Would recommend for indoor (basement/garage) use. We have not tried outdoors.

My kids favorite Christmas gift!
My kids received this for Christmas and have been loving it so far. I have an 8 year old baseball player and 11 year old softball player, they both use it for kitting and catching drills. Iโve purchased a few brands of mini pitching machines before and this is the best one by far. Pricey but honestly worth the money. The ball that came with it are great for hitting, I did purchase extras that came up as recommended when buying but they donโt come out as consistent as the ones that are included.

Great Product with Excellent Customer Service
I purchased the Personal Pitcher before Christmas for my Kids. I received the item and it was damaged by the shipping company so I contact SPC and they "Bob" emailed me back and sent me a new product out no cost to me and with shipping labels to mail back damaged product immediately. We only had 4 day before Christmas and they where very responsive to making sure that my needs where going to be meet for Christmas morning from the special man. ** Performance of the item ** I know I was trying to decided which item to purchase because their are several items on the market to choose from. The machine throws the balls fast and very accurate. Some please say the they are not consistent on the location of the balls being pitched. You will have an occasional wild ball but this is due to where the wheels grab the ball people need to remember that the balls have holes. I have a 9 years old son that it using the machine daily and the few inconstant balls helps him determine which ones to swing at and not to swing at. I always ask myself one question when I have purchased a product and used it. Would I recommend this product to a friend? Absolutely!! Save the money and purchase this product it will perform exactly the way you would want it to.

Great tool if used correctly..
I've owned two of these machines for years and use them for a traveling teen baseball team. The light weight and easy transport allows me to set up 2 hittinng stations while the team warms up before each game.. the whiffle golf balls are harmless and do not travel far.. which is perfect for small areas.. I would recommend purchasing the golf waffle directly from the machine manufacturer.. ( off brand balls seem to be made inconsistently and do not perform well with this pitching machine.) As with any machine. Especially outdoors: checking and maintaining the machine is a must for the machines performance and life span. Check inside the machine after a few sessions. Make sure the connections are solid and no moisture or corrosion is present.. as with any mechanical device.. ie.. your car... maintenance is a must. 1. For improving eye-hand coordination.. I would recommend a 30-32 inch broom handle as a bat. Apply trainers tape or padded tape to the "hitting area" of the broom handle.. this saves the wear and tear on the wiffle balls.. hitting wiffle balls with raw wood broom handle destroys the wiffle balls.. even younger teen hitters generate a lot of bat speed with the broom handle and it can dent the wiffle balls out of shape and even break them.. or you can purchase a metal broom stick type bat from the manufacturer.. 2. Broom stick drill: because the broom stick is really light.. with this broom stick technique.. it helps the player learn to keep his/her weight back on pitches. ( not lunging forward in anticipation of a pitch). "Staying back" allows the player to recognize curve balls and helps them keep their head on the ball for all pitches. Most players want to hit the ball far and try too hard to generate bat speed ... in doing so.. the player tends to take a big stride forward ..throwing their weight forward onto their front foot which is fine if the player's timing is perfect.. if the pitch is a curve ball however.. all that weight transfers onto the front foot and the player's power is gone.. hence gets easily fooled by slower or "off speed " pitches. Great tool if used correctly
