I purchased the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser for my mother as a gift because she absolutely loves hot chocolate, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. She uses it all the time and says it makes some of the smoothest, creamiest hot chocolate she’s ever had. It’s incredibly easy to use, heats everything evenly, and creates a rich, café-quality drink with very little effort. The machine also looks great on the countertop and feels like a premium appliance. Seeing how much she enjoys it has made this one of my favorite gifts I’ve given. If you have someone in your life who loves hot chocolate, I highly recommend the Velvetiser. It’s a thoughtful gift that’s both fun to use and delivers excellent results every time.

I absolutely love mine. I have been wanting 1 for years since I have a bit of a hot cocoa addiction lol. It works amazingly well and cleans easily. I'm really picky about hot chocolate and this makes it perfect with just the right amount of froth. It's also gorgeous enough to leave on my counter.

I love it. The hot chocolate is rich and creamy. It turns every cup into an experience. Worth every penny and more.

I purchased this Velvetiser because of its reviews. It looks like a solid build and the chocolate kit is good quality. Unfortunately for me, the Velvetiser unit is stained. I tried gentle soap, warm water, warm towel, microfiber towel, and unfortunately nothing works. The stain won't go away no matter what I do. Shame! Another problem is I think I got a defective unit because every time I try making hot drink, half of the chocolate nibs are always there (lid on of course). They never completely dissolve with this unit even after the unit turns off on its own and I wait for an additional minute before serving. I really want to love this unit but I just can't considering these problems. I can't return the unit because shipping cost is almost the same as the value I paid for the system. To add insult to injury, out of excitement I also spent another $170 buying all of their chocolate variations. Now I don't have a reliable unit to taste all these delicious drinks. Bummer!

I have only used this for hot chocolate but I love it much better than the original velvetisser because it actually makes the chocolate hotter. It’s a breeze to clean and it just looks nice. It makes the chocolate nice and creamy. The on and off switch is easy to use and it is very quiet. It makes the perfect size cup. It may be a little costly but for me the taste and ease make it worth the price.

I’ve been using my Hotel Chocolat daily for around two weeks now to really explore this product. It dos what it says it does, and does a great job at it… when it works. I’ve had several issues, and for the price of this product that’s unacceptable. - The first issue I had was upon unboxing, I noticed scratches all over the cap which eventually cleaned off after several attempts. - You can tell where this products heating comes from, as there will always be sugar/chocolate burned to the bottom in a very specific area. Happens every time, and isn’t the easiest to clean due to the small size. Although not unbearable, again for the price they should include a cleaning tool for this. - I’ve only used their chocolate (and ordered more as see in my picture) but it’s scammy to say you can’t make ANY other Brands hot chocolate in this or it’ll void the warranty, ESPECIALLY when I’ve had several issue with making your chocolate listed below: 1) Several times the magnetic spinner gets stuck, freezes, won’t start. Why? I have no clue. Eventually I can get it working again, but it’s happened several times and it’s very concerning. I always keep my Hotel Chocolat clean, and clean it immediately after using. 2) Sometimes it just won’t turn on. Why? I don't know. Eventually it will turn on though, why? I also don’t know. The point is, none of this should be happening on a product this expensive that only serves to make the hot chocolate you already drink, a little better. When it works, it’s great, 5 stars. I love it. But I’ve had so many issues in only two-ish weeks, I can’t rate it the 5 stars I would have a few days after receiving this. Also, just a personal preference, but the serving size is entirely too small and the “Max” line is easily missed.

I LOVE the Velvetiser! It works as described and makes a single serving of cold or hot chocolate milk. If temperature is a concern for hot chocolate, transfer immediately into a insulated mug like a Yeti. I don't like scalded milk and the Velvetiser warms the milk to the perfect temperature. The included ceramic and glass pods for drinking are useless and I tossed them in the trash. The regular chocolate samples are OK, but the flavored samples taste artificial and they are too expensive. I immediately switched to using semi-sweet chocolate chips pulverized in a food processor. I tried hot cocoa powders, but they have a tendency to leave a gritty residue at the bottom of your drink. If you want to make a truly decadent drink, substitute whole milk for a bit of half and half or heavy cream. I hate kitchen appliances that are one-trick ponies, but this is a pretty cool product. I'm a bit of a chocolate milk junkie, so I will put the Velvetiser to regular use.

La máquina es excelente y hace un chocolate caliente y frío exquisito. Los sobres que venían estaban ya algo viejos y estaban duros por los que hubo que picarlos con cuchillo para que funcionaran.

I love this thing. I literally use it for Matcha hot chocolate, even turning powdered milk into liquid milk and I know I can use it for many more things. I can see myself using it for protein shakes for tea. Basically any powdered drink I want.

I had the older version of the velvitiser but it had been used so much I felt an upgrade was necessary. This one is the perfect upgrade. I use this everyday for my coffee and love the smooth texture of the milk and the perfect pint of froth. The capacity of milk it holds is perfect for me.units use it for their hot chocolate and love it too, so easy to use. It is a tad expensive but I have tried the cheaper versions and finally gave in and don’t regret the upgrade at all. I would recommend this whole heartedly especially if you have a coffee machine and wfh as it is the perfect morning treat without spending too much per day. It works out to be worth every penny.

Got it and refunded twice and was broken both the times.

Bought in Jan and broke in April And no way to contact seller or Amazon to get the issue addressed. Hand washed only. And the spinning and heating element are both bit working
