Bought this cable to control volume on ANC over-ear headphones. When I listen to TV thru an audio cable (instead of Bluetooth), volume is much too loud with no way to lower it. This cable with in-line volume control would have been the solution if not for the fact that there's no controlling this control.No matter how careful I am, slide mechanism takes volume from silent to LOUD with nothing in between. Oh, it can go from loud to louder just fine but I ain't trying to ruin my ears or wreck my nerves.This cable is ok for music, but not good for TV, which was my whole reason for buying. I'll have to take a chance with some other brand.

Sure the audio comes through, but the problem is the plastic housing for the mic is the loudest I've ever heard on a aux/mic cord. Every little bit of movement on your shirt, or moving around while wearing sends rattling or scratchy static noises to your ears, and is hell for anyone you're talking to via phone/pc/xbox/playstation etc . The scratchy static is even louder for them based on feedback I get. Don't buy this unless you plan to sit completely stationary without moving your head around, unless you want a ton of noise through the mic portion.

Got this cable for a pair of Wireless Beats to use as a mic/headset for Xbox One. Between the wonderful sound of the beats and superior quality of the cord and microphone I can't say enough good things. Great Buy.

I wanted an option to use my Sony WH1000XM3 and since Sony doesn't allow these new flagship headphones to be used natively with the PS4 (eye roll), a cable with an inline microphone is necessary. While this cable does work for Chat with these headphones, I only have it as a backup since I prefer Game audio to come through the stereo and chat through the headset. Overall, a good value for what it is.

Exactly what I needed. I purchase some noise cancelling headphones but the original Court had got damaged so I had to get a replacement and this one works just it's good if the one that comes with the headphones I would definitely recommend this for family and friends

These sounds great and the mic is the best inline mic I have used... But after a year the cable starts to go. I'll probably buy another because they are a good price and the mic is great, bit keep in you may have to buy them about once a year.

Used with B&O headphonesNo complaints from my finicky boyfriend these were cheap so I was Leary and the headphones are about 500 and extremely high quality and absolutely no issues so far for music listening and gaming

The button on the mic is lose and you can hear it rattle
