Weedol Ultra Tough WeedKiller Liquid Concentrate, 6+2 Tubes

Does exactly what it says. Delivered on time and in perfect condition. The pre measured small capsules make it easier to get the right amount of weedkiller and saves any extra measuring. Fill the watering can to the required level, pop in a capsule and you're good to go. The capsules are easy to manage, and not fiddly so you dont end up with weed killer all over your hands. Squeeze the contents into the water, and dispose. I used this product and within days noticed the weeds starting to die off, they were completely gone by the end of the week, and have kept them at bay for six weeks. Be careful near the lawn edges as it will seep into the soil, and i did start to see browning of my grass even though i stopped far from the lawn edge... it does travel further through the soil than you think.

Buy on price as it does what most weedkillers do. Weedol is a reliable brand and as with all top brands it comes down to regular and appropriate application. There are certain 'stubborn' weeds that are best dug out.

There are lots of weed killer products on the market and this make tends to be in the top percentile of the ones that you would want to use. You get a capsules inside the box which you twist the lid off and squirt into a watering can. What I learned though is if you have one of those pump sprayers that you can target it onto the weeds better and the concentration is higher so seems to be more effective. Just dont use the sprayer for anything else unless you wash it out well! Used this at my mums house as well as out the front of my house and it worked really well. It keeps the weeds away for a while but they return (like you would expect - like a child with a cold!) Would get again and the little pod things last a while but depends on how concentrated you use them and how big your weedy area is to work on. Dont get it near grassy or other areas where plants are as this stuff is quite bruital so flicking the last bit across your lawn.....big no no!

Slow but working, does not kill mares tail tho, waxy things just runs off, most things I sprayed with my five litre sprayer is dying after four days added six tubes per 5lextra strength meant to be only five to five litres. Might need another dose in three days

Put this down the day after rain, nice and dry, properly soaked the leaves and roots of the weeds but after 2 days nothing has happened. But after 3 days you could see it working. After 6 days the weeds are definitely gone. You have to be patient the weed killer attacks the roots first to make sure they do not re grow. I wrote a poor review to start with but have edited it because this stuff really works.

I have a large mount which i haven't utilized properly and wanted to rid it of late autumn weeds. I shifted most of the weeds before applying the weed killer. Performed this on a dry, calm day so everything settled well. I would say it took about a week to truly see the effectiveness of the killer in action. So maybe not as fast acting as i expected but did work. Did a second spray whenever weather permitted which allowed me to catch any other sprouting weeds before November rolled in. Few spare tubes as well Decent product. Maybe not suitable for as large of project as i had given it!

Really pleased with this product. I’ve been having a battle with bindweed for several years without much luck but after two years of applying this to every tiny bit that appears I’m finally winning the battle with hardly any shooting up this year. Applied with a garden sprayer or for larger growth half fill a zip lock bag and put the bindweed directly into this for a couple of days to get it down to the roots and avoid damaging to surrounding plants.
