Foam doesn't actually form
While spraying the solution stays liquid, and drain flies just escape via the drain back up.

Not enough foam in bottle
Gave me 2 applications before it stopped spraying even though there is plenty of product still in the bottle. Not worth the price. Drain flies still present also.

Gets in tight spots and foams nicely.
I can't say if this single product cleared out my drain flies but I did notice when the foam expands it brought all kinds of gunk up from the inside of the drain. Even after I thought I cleaned it pretty good. Gunk included a couple dead drain flies. Not sure if they were already dead or killed in the form but who cares - they're dead! I found it easy to direct the spray into the drain and it didn't take too much to fill the drain. I've still got plenty left after several treatments. My mom has COPD and I've got allergies that can be triggered by odor/perfume and this product did not cause any issues. There is almost no scent. I used this after letting Zevo flying traps (UV lights) run for about a week. Also treated the drains with Green Gobbler overnight. I still get the odd drain fly but I live in an apartment so it's possible some are coming over from other units.

It works
Does the job but too expensive to keep buying for continued treatment. I have a total of four drains in my apartment. I was able to do a really good application. You really do need to shake this up so that the foam comes. After those four applications honestly, I only got one more really good one.

Finally got rid of our drain fly problem!
We had annoying little drain flies popping up around our kitchen sink, and liquid drain cleaners just were not getting the job done. I bought this foam treatment, and it was a total game changer. The fold-up extension tube made it super easy to spray deep down into the pipes, and the thick foam expands so you can actually see it coating the inside of the drain where the bugs breed. I sprayed both sides of our sink before heading to bed, let it sit overnight, and noticed a massive drop in flies by the very next day. It didn't damage our pipes or leave behind any harsh chemical smell, and we haven't seen a single bug come back since.

It WORKED!!
It works well - I had a drain fly infestation! Used it in 2 bathroom sinks, two shower drains and 2 kitchen sinks and had a wee bit left over. I expected the foam to stick around for a while, but it evaporates pretty quickly. I haven’t seen any flies since. I bought a second can to spray the following week but I’ve barely used it. The worst part of this is that I find it very hard to get out of the can. It’s got a sort of safety, and between that and keeping the can upright so it sprays is quite challenging. I wish they’d change the disbursal design.

Crossing fingers it seems to have worked!
We had a problem with what I thought was fruit flies, and I tried Baits both homemade and store-bought, was scrupulous about cleaning counters, and not having any kind of old food or fruit of any kind laying around, emptied the trash super frequently. Alas, nothing worked. In doing some deeper research I realize they were not fruit flies, but scuttle flies and grew very concerned because everything I read said they can be very hard to get rid of. Well, it’s been close to a month and knock on wood I think we’ve got it under control! I learned that they lay their eggs and can breed in any kind of soap, gum, or any kind of scum Lining the drains of sinks. First off I used green goblin enzymatic drain cleaner overnight in every single drain to clean the lining of the pipes. The next night I filled every drain with this foaming insecticide. I have 10 drains in the house and I used one and a half cans. Maybe closer to two. The deeper two shower drains, and the big disposal in the kitchen sink took the most foam to fill up the entire drain. I let it sit overnight and over the course of the next week or two I noticed significantly less of the fly activity. And now for the past week or two I think we are finally fly free. I will update this review if they happen to return, but right now I’m giving this two thumbs up and thank goodness this problem is out of our house!
