Just buy it :)
This books is primarily intended for people to get a sense of what to expect from PM interviews at top companies in Silicon Valley (The author is a very highly regarded consultant in Silicon Valley) As such you should be careful about what value you can get if you are in India (living and working here) I would recommend this book to Indians in the following two scenarios: (a) This is a must have if you are going to interview for a PM role with a top silicon valley company, for e.g. Google's Bangalore or Hyderabad office. (b) This may not be useful if you are interviewing for Indian companies. But you should still buy and read it, because you will learn a lot about how the top tech companies in the world approach product management as a discipline. The reason top valley companies look for these things is because they are relevant to do a PM job well. Which means we can learn and apply these principles in our day to day job, even though it is very unlikely any Indian company is likely to look for this level of depth. The book itself is structured brilliantly. I cannot say enough good things about this book.

The must have book for any aspiring PM or looking for a Switch in the top Tech companies
Thanks Gayle and Jackie for writing this wonderful book. The structure, questions, concepts and answers are detailed and gives us a thought process to crack the toughest Product Management questions. There is also a good mix of technical, non technical and design questions. I was recently able to crack one of the top Product Management interviews and got the offer. Many of the questions asked in the interview questions was related to concepts in the book. And I was able to relate it. Thanks a lot for putting up this together.

Good Purchase
Great book and a good purchase for PMs. However, some parts feel slightly less relevant now given the rapid advancements in AI.

Good starting point for learning how to prepare for a PM interview
The book was overall good. It makes you familiarise with the following: 1. The types of questions you should practice before going for a PM interview. 2. What your approach should be 3. How you will be evaluated 4. Expectations in case of certain companies like Google, looking for Software engg experience But here, I have a few points, which could have been better 1. The book only familiarises you without going very deep into these topics 2. It lacked content on Product strategy which is nowadays becoming an important assessment interview round 3. It doesn't touch upon how interviews might vary across company types and sizes, the experience of the person which are very relevant during the interviews. But overall the book gives you good content to start preparing for interviews. The person would need to practice and read from different resources I believe.

Brilliant book for practise prior to a Product Management interview
I currently work as a Product Manager and I used this book to ensure that I have all the basics and framework nailed to confirm that I am doing my role to the best of my ability. I'm not actively looking for a job, but as I progressed internally in the company I work at, I've never had a proper Product Manager interview, so I was curious to see what one is like to be able to determine whether or not I would likely be successful or not. After all, considering I progressed internally, am I even doing the correct day to day stuff that a PM should be? So I used this book to see the kinds of questions that recruiters and companies ask during the Product Management Interview process. This book was a great insight and made me realise the following: - Product Management interviews aren't usually just a sit down face to face. You'll end up doing something like a whiteboard challenge to show you understand the product development lifecycle all the way from ideation to delivery. - If you want to work at most of the big tech companies, you'll need to have some coding experience as you'll be expected to show understanding in the interview. I am by no means an engineer, more a strategy/community based PM, so this book has opened my eyes to what I should and shouldn't be aiming for as I progress through my Product Management career. Overall, this book is a must have whether you are looking for a new PM role or not. Ash

Must read for all folks who are trying to a make a career in technology
This is a must read, not only for Product Managers but all software analyst/engineers passionate about making a good career in Technology. Highly recommended, to crack interviews in general, because this book touches most of the general interview preparation while other parts of the book are focused primarily on product management.
