This is exactly what I needed as I often fall asleep although I'm in the living room right next door to his bedroom and sometimes he's doing God knows what and I'm just exhausted sleep on the sofa and miss the whole ordeal like the time when he fell and I was none the wiser!

This is a great little device at an affordable price!! Setup was very straightforward. I was able to place the sensor under my mother‘s bed and did a number of test runs at different angles to find the sweet spot to place it. It works like a charm and alerts as soon as she swings her legs over so that I have time to get in and help her up to the restroom. This is a game changer for fall prevention and for people with cognitive issues too. I was a little worried based on other reviews, that the alarm would be too loud, but that’s not the case at all. There is a nice amount of volume adjustment. I like being able to keep the unit plugged in with the micro USB while using the batteries as a back up, should the power go out. Highly recommend!

Needs to be paired again and again once switched off and then turned on. Inconvenient
