Apart from Lactobacillus there is another bacterium called Akkermansia which is exceedingly important for the overall health of the body. Pomegranate juice and extract have ellagic acid (natural phenol antioxidant) which helps Akkermansia flourish in the microbiome; with anti-inflammatory as well as other benefits. Unlike the juice, the tablet, one presumes, has no sugar. it would be quite useful if the manufacturer lists out the nutrient contents of the pill or get a certificate from an independent laboratory. In any event, I am buying more and giving them to friends.

Not useful. Not a good extract. Did not have any positive effect. May not be hygienic enough. But good that it does not have fillers.

Just started using.The seal of the bottle is partly opened but The cork is intact.

Pomegranate is very rich in antioxidants, and hence very beneficial for maintaining good health. It is not always possible to buy the entire pomegranate fruit for consumption. I find it very convenient to take pomegranate tablets.
