You get what you pay for. This hammer works fine and the heads are easily interchangeable. When I unscrewed the heads that came installed on the hammer, one head retained the threaded stud, but the other head left the threaded stud in the hammer. It seems that when the hammer is assembled they put some glue on the wood handle to keep it in place and that glue grabbed onto the threaded stud. I had to unscrew it with pliers and reinstall it into the head after putting some lock-tite on it. Should be fine now.

This product arrived one day early, so that is good! The hammer appears to be well made. The tips are easy to change out. However there is no included pouch to put your other three tips when they are not in use ( I used a ziploc sandwich bag ) so they could inevitably get lost if left out. The tips are not labeled, but the rubber, copper, and brass tips are easy to tell. The ABS and nylon tips are a little tricky. Anyhow, I'm giving this a three star overall because the copper tip unthreaded itself from the screw when I removed it from the hammer, thus not allowing me to attach any other tip on that side. A pair of vice grips allowed me to remove the screw and rethread it onto the copper tip. It now works as advertised. I hope this review helps!

Hammer is good quality. Set consists of standard sized inserts.

Perfect for tapping big chucks onto Morse tapers as long as you use the copper and brass heads for mass.

A very good hammer with all the softer heads needed for smithing and work you don't want marred.

The seller is great, I should have just checked further into the weight of the hammer. For it's price it is excellent qaulity and was shipped to me quickly and at a reasonable price. When I use the synthetic heads, I will just have to ensure that I have one of the metal heads on as well :)

Exactly as described and just what I was looking for. Size and weight is just right for smaller work, and with the five different heads, you will always have the one needed for any particular job.
