folkloreから短期で発売されたタイミングでは、folkloreと似てるしfolkloreの方が気に入っていたので、購入を見送ってしまいましたが、あらためて聞く機会があって、こっちも気に入りました。 やはりふたつセットでゆったりとした気分で聞くのが良いです。

“「フォークロア」の姉妹盤”とテーラー自身が呼ぶ、9作目の新作。“森の端までたどり着いて、もっと深く音楽の旅路をしたいと思い、森に戻っていくような”気持ちになって、初めて二部作形式のアルバムを作ったそうです。サウンド的には前作と同じくアメリカーナが主体ですが、13からのオルタナティブとのハイブリッドな楽曲群がもたらす静かだが確かな勢いに、僕は心地よく飲み込まれていきました。 モダンなアメリカーナの1、アルペジオの音色の持つ美しさが、瞬時に新たな世界を開く。アルコール依存を歌う2の歌詞に、エルヴィスの「Blue Suede Shoes」が一瞬透けて見える。“one for the money, two for the show”、でも“three to get ready”と奮い立つのではなく、“ I never was ready”と寂しく別れを見送る。6はHAIMのコーラスの美しさと、妻殺しを匂わすエグい歌詞のギャップが強烈。薄いヴェールを幾重にも纏っていくようなアンサンブルが美しい10も、ゴシックな歌詞を読みながら聴くと大きな影を感じる。13はポリスの「Synchronisity Ⅱ」のようなループも、さりげないストリングスもカッコイイ。14では、インダストリアルなループとレトロなコンピュータサウンドの無機質さと、アコPとBに乗せたゆるやかな歌声を一緒に聴いていると、身体の奥底で不穏な何かがギシギシ鳴っているように感じる。齢を重ねることへの優しいまなざしを感じさせる歌の17。ループにレディオヘッドの「Burn The Witch」が頭をよぎる。どうにも、一筋縄ではいかない楽曲ばかりで、前作から短期間でのリリースに不安を感じていたのは、見事に杞憂でした。 インナースリーヴには、モノクロ写真と歌詞がキレイにレイアウト。聴くほどに味わいが深くなる力作です。 1. フォークロアに引き続きの購入です。テイラースイフトはメジャーになる前のファースト盤は買いましたが、カントリー、フォーク路線から遠ざかるようになったため買い控えてました。 フォークロアの出来がフォーク路線で良かったため再度ファンになりました。 ＣＤ盤の録音の良さがフォークロア同様すばらしかったためＬＰ盤でも購入です。 とにかくレンジ感がすばらしく、オーディオの醍醐味を満喫出来る良盤です。

名作「folklore」の続編アルバムです。 前作からわずか5か月で突然リリースされて驚きましたが、「folklore」に負けずとも劣らない素晴らしい完成度で、コロナ禍の社会を見事に表しています。 2020年代の名盤の登場です。

曲調も以前のカントリーロックに戻っていて、一時期多かったダンス調よりはいいと思う。 テイラー・スイフトらしいアルバムである。

Top, ook goed ingepakt

If you’re a fan of Evermore, this transparent green vinyl is a really special version to own. The color itself is gorgeous and fits the whole earthy, woodland vibe of the album perfectly. When the light hits the record, the green transparency looks even better and makes it feel like a unique collector’s piece. The sound quality on my copy is excellent. The record plays cleanly with very little surface noise, and the warm analog sound really complements the softer, folk-inspired production of songs like Willow, Champagne Problems, and Gold Rush. It’s one of those albums that feels especially nice to listen to on vinyl. The packaging is also well done. The sleeve artwork looks great in person and the vinyl arrived well protected with no warping or scratches. It feels like a thoughtful pressing rather than a rushed release. Overall, this is a beautiful edition of a great album. If you enjoy collecting colored vinyl or just love Evermore, the transparent green pressing is definitely worth picking up. It looks great on display and sounds just as good spinning on the turntable.

I’m a big Swiftie and this cd was great. I love evermore!! The cd came in perfect condition, didn’t have any marks or anything Definitely would recommend
