how many jars should I get for very long thick hair (to middle back)?

Hello, it’s hard to say. Because you mix this product with water, 1 jar should be enough but I would buy a minimum of 2 jar because 1 application will probably not be enough depending on what brand of Color was used, how dark it is and how long you have been doing the same Color. Ps if your Color has been jet black or black, maybe even 3-4 applications spaced out over a couple of weeks and very good treatments in between will be necessary.

Will this remove black box dye? I dont care if it goes back to the color it was before as long as it can remove the black

Will this remove all box color down to the gray?

Do not purchase this product, it will destroy your hair. It states you can use with water or processor, I used water to lessen the chemical damage to my hair. This was a month ago and my hair was healthy at the time. My hair is now dry & brittle, breaking and very damaged and I couldn't leave it on the recommended time as I could feel it was damaging my hair after 10- 15 minutes. It also didn't remove all the color.
