Does the job
Unlocked apple carplay/android auto on my 2015 AMG CLS 350 d shooting brake with comand interface. According to google my head unit doesn’t support it but worked perfectly. It did cost me an extra £25 to buy the credits but well worth the money 👌

Brilliant bit of kit! Can't believe how quickly android auto is activated on my car! Saved a fortune compared to a dealer or remote coder!!!

Works very well and is nice and compact
This is a very nice and compact device, which works great (Mercedes Only). This is a bonus as it concerns its efforts on one company only and not multiple brands of vehicle so you know its right. The only downside is the constant Emails with promotions etc once set-up. Otherwise its brilliat for Merc owners.

Apple Carplay and Android Auto activated as described
I bought this having been told by Mercedes that they could not activate Apple Carplay / Android Auto on my 21 plate C class. I did contact mBito on their website first to ensure it was compatible / possible for my car, they confirmed it would work so I bought the item from Amazon, paid roughly £25 extra to unlock the required credits and within 10 mins (including running the initial scan) both Android Auto and Apple Carplay both work perfectly. Based on my experience I recommend this product.

I bought this thinking ok itsabit expensive so I connected the device and that's when I found out you have to pay more money to use it????? What a con!!

Pre-used
Item arrived with broken seal and damaged packaging. It looks like it has been opened or used before. Not acceptable for a “new” product. Returned immediately.

Genial - nicht geschenkt, aber schon günstig
Voll Geil! Habe eine E-Klasse S213 EZ 2020 und wollte CarPlay aktivieren. Angeschlossen, mit dem iPhone verbunden in der MBito App, Scan durchlaufen lassen und dann CarPlay aktiviert. Kinderleicht! Einziger Wermutstropfen ist, dass in der App alles was man will noch zusätzlich mit Credits (für CarPlay 40 Credits - also 20 waren beim Kauf enthalten und dann ein Pack mit 30 weiteren Credits für 21,60€ kaufen müssen). Aber in Summe mit dem Kauf des Dongles für unter 100€ CarPlay an Board wofür bei Mercedes eher das vierfache fällig gewesen wäre.

Is it really worth it ?
Having to buy something for nearly €100 and then pay every time you use it is not something I normally get involved in . In this case I went for it . I managed to change the default Stop / Start setting and the Tyre Units for an additional €10 paid for with the relative App . This additional charge can go up and up in time and one may have to make the same change again if your Mercedes dealer does a software update during service .
