Power India Meters Single Phase Digital Multi-function Electrical Energy Meter with electronic LCD Display

Works pretty well on this budget I must say value for money, so far using it since 2 months and it's reading is pretty accurate, and it was also pretty easy to install. shows many useful information such as power usage, consumption, pf, etc.

Item is good, pretty accurate and easy to install. One star less is due to their poor quality check. I received the item with a stuck push button. It wont push the on board switch as it was already pushed against it and stuck. A simple quality check just before packaging would have revealed this flaw. The push button mechanism is slightly taller than it should be due to which the button was at pressed state. I pulled out the plastic mechanism and cut a small piece at the end so that the length is about right. Now it is working fine. Another thing is, the push button mechanism is not properly isolating the hole through which it is inserted which may allow moisture and dust inside the meter, which may shorten its life. In short, they better change their push button design.

Digital meter is defective . I purchased one 3 months back and another around 60 days back. Both found defective. As these are electronic items, Unless used it could not be ascertained. Very sorry to say I lost around Rs 1700/-. Since indicates 10 days replacement period, please convey the same to the manufacturer for replacement towards customer satisfaction. For such reasons customers lose faith on Amazon India to book any items.

I installed the meter on06.09.2020 and following are my observations: 1.Meter seems to be original though it was not packed in company's box. It was packed in plain cardboard box. 2.Meter is working as usual. 3. Back light helps to read LCD display easily. Cons: 1.No Invoice has been sent with the package. 2.No instruction manual has been supplied. I couldn't set date and time. 3.Blinking lamp as been dislocated from it designated location. Hence it's brightness has been reduced. 4.No calibration certificate is attached. I have installed this check meter to challange Energy meter of MSEDCL hence calibration certificate is necessary. 5.It is too early to certify accuracy, durability etc. 6.Backlight provided is too bright. It iluminate my whole passage and cause disturbance in night. It could be little less bright. It will be helpful if manufacturer can a) guide me how to place the LED lamp at it's proper place, b) how to set date and time and c) supply the calibration certificate. My rating may go upward if above discripensies are eleminated.

I am using this as sub-meter for the last one year. It is working fine.

The product is good for its price, it has a separate readings of voltage, amps, watts, power factor and obviously kilowatt hour. I have connected this to my solar inverter to find how much energy I am generating. There is a button to scroll all the above values, but voltage, amps, Watts readings doesn't stay for more than 3 seconds unless you press again, after 3 seconds its automatically goes to kilowatt hour reading, bit annoying when you measure exact amps and watts of devices, but you get used to it definitely a VFM product.

Really good product, I checked by giving different loads it was almost correct, The load shows 85 to 90 percent accuracy, You can save on electricity bill by reducing your electricity load by watching your load,I have shared this experience after 15 days of use, I want to give it 4.5 stars, very good product.
