Camel , Faber Castel and Apsara best for Pencil grades and shading i used first time for portrait shading and sketching with these brand is soft and go with the flow without inturpt on paper, wood quality best.

Well, it really is a great color pencil. I really would say more but really all the others have taken my praise word. so I'm just saying that it is a great color pencil. But I am little disappointed because of it's soft colours. It is amazing pencil and all but I think it has a little soft touch. When I was looking to make some dark shadow and i needed dark colours. I couldn't find it and I ended up just press it hard on the paper and I was afraid my paper would just torn off. It did leave pretty dance on all over my paper and the end result was on that good because of it only.

I'll say it's an okay product. To elaborate, I'm mentioning the pros and cons of it. PROS: • The pencils are easy to hold • All the important colours are present • Decent softness for blending • Easy to use for beginners/children CONS: • Pencils are a little hard(suitable for kids who apply a lot of pressure but not really required for adults) • It does not work well on medium surface and tooth (Good for smooth sheets with low toothing) • White and skin colour is not there So overall a decent product I'd say, however if you're an adult who uses a medium/versatile surface I'd say go with a better quality or oil based pencils.

I use to sketch, it helps me color sketch my drawings and its been very appreciated after i have been using this product. This has nice quality and color shades are also good and being utilized very often. Yes the silver color is a but off but its ok. Overall a very good product to purchase for improving drawing skills. Totally recommended

This is a wonderful budget pencil and excellent for beginners, price is ok, pencil is well built and doesn’t break easily but yes only if you use good quality sharpener, pencil give you cool soft texture on smooth paper but it looks slightly muddy on paper with some tooth, even it is highly recommended for school going kids, not easy to erase though, it blends quite well, don’t expect more but good enough. These are pretty decent coloured pencils considering they are aimed at children. I bought these for adult colouring when traveling, they are double ended so I can take twice the number of colours with me. But I have found my self reaching for them at home too. They have good pigment lay down and they can layer and blend well too. They also keep a decent point. These are be great for colouring and would recommend them to anyone starting out due to the good value and quality of the pencils. It seems you just can't go wrong with Faber-Castell pencils even the classic series.

Fantastic pencils. Excellent quality

Love the concept of these but they are not really the same quality as the other Faber Castell products. I Love the idea of a travel set- wish they would make a dual ended Polychromos travel set or just a better quality version not designed for kids. I used these for drawing and the leads kept breaking when sharpening and using.
