I use derwent inktense blocks on fabric and loved them since they dry permanent all I had to do was heat set it and that's it ... planning on adding more to my collection ...I would like to mention that the packing was very poor and probably due to this 14 of the blocks were broken but I'm very happy with the product and the delivery and of course the price ....overall I'll say go for it ...its definitely worth your money I've posted some photos of the products I made using these blocks

Packaging was not good, in the first place I thought I received a used product or an old product so initially I was unhappy after unboxing it but never mind , about the product it was on my wishlist and finally I got it in a lightning deal so I am happy and excited to use it. This product is a bit different than watercolors so for reference I may suggest my favourite Lachri fine art for helpful videos on inktense blocks and pencils , Lisa from Lachri fine art is the one who created the illustration ,(the turtle design/painting) on the Derwent inktense blocks tin which even I received, and I am happy for that too as I am her proud subscriber and supporter.

Delivered much more broken blocks on replacement. First delivery it was one piece broken. Second, many.

After going through trial and error I finally get it how to use them.as all can see the pigment kind of sepating here it is difficult to conrol how much pigment will come out of the block. I regret a lot buying them.then one day I watched on youtube someone was rubbing inkstick on watered ink stone . Following that procedure I put little bit of water using brush on clean palete rub the stick on it and vioala . rich watercolor is there.😃Now I use this same method to get maxium pigment from watercolor pencils as well.here one example where I used graphitint pencils , camlin watercolor , and inktense block. Hope this is helpful to others.

Inktense always keeps its promise, I already own the Intense Pencils and by the performance of the pencils, gave a thout to go for the block and does it's work. Just awesome they way the packs the huge bunch of pigments...

Highly pigmented, beautiful colours.

I was expecting a pristine new box of the esteemed Derwent Inktense Ink sticks.And I receive a cling wrapped soiled old stock box with no lid of these very premium art materials, at a premium price, but it pathetic condition.Very very disappointed....Am returning the same and hoping for a better replacement...

Opaque. Non patchy outcome. Mixes well together. Permanent when dried

Premetto che non sono un'artista ma faccio card. Cercavo un prodotto per fare sfondi e colorare le parti in rilievo delle card dopo il passaggio nell'embossing folder. PERFETTI! I colori che ho provato finora sono luminosi e coprenti, attenzione a prelevarne poco per volta perchè sono molto pigmentati. Consiglio di farsi una cartella colori fai da te. Ottimi anche per l'effetto goccia/schizzo. Un paio di pezzi sono arrivati rotti ma questo non ne pregiudica l'utilizzo.

I attend an Art Group in the Hathersage area and as we all paint in different media and styles, it seemed a very good opportunity to take the Inktense Blocks with me. They caused great interest, so much so that a friend had a go with them too and as the blocks snapped in half easily, it didn't cause any problems sharing the Inktense Blocks. My friend painted a lovely cockerel and I had a great time painting a landscape. We were highly enthusiastic with them, and as I had also taken my set of Inktense Pencils with me I was able to mix the two together on my picture. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her day, especially as initially, she had been a bit stuck for ideas. She said she was definitely going to send off for a set too. We both liked the way they were so flexible in use, in that they could be used wet or dry, made very interesting marks, and seemed to work well on different surfaces.. Also, having the 36 Pack gave us a very good range of colour choice and would be much easier and less messier than taking watercolours on holiday. All in all a very good product and we can thoroughly recommend it.

I love the range of this product for safely layering colour washes without 'muddying' previous layers. You can achieve a luminous effect easily. The versatility of this product is that you can draw with the blocks and activate with water or you can use it as a 'watercolour' pan. The colours are vibrant and crisp or soft and dreamy according to use.

ダーウェントのインクテンスブロックは、分類としては水溶性パステルですが、他社製品とはかなり違います。「カラーインクのような発色」と謳っているとおり、とても鮮やかで深い色が出ます。鮮やか=明るい、ではありません。赤や青は深く明度の低い、かつ鮮やかな色が出ます。黄色は蛍光色のように鮮やかで明るいです（イメージです）24色セットには白もありますが、白を混ぜた色はほとんどありません。ダイレクトに描いて、水筆で濃くのばすことができます。固形水彩のように、筆先をつけて淡彩にすることもできます。描き心地はなめらかで、粉落ちも気になりませんが、描いた後はグラシン紙などで保護する必要があります。とにかく配色、発色が独特なのでオススメです。
