I've been using Goldmedal 3-pin multi plug socket for around 4 years. After buying the first piece, I was quite happy with it. It's good in terms of quality, and functionality. It's compact in size and fits any normal plug point. Easy to use, and lightweight, it can be carried with us during travel also. I find it quite useful as I use it to charge my laptop, phone and also insert a GoodKnight machine or a night lamp on the upper side. I felt it was value for money so I went ahead and bought 5 more pieces which we now use in different rooms at home.

Good-one and value for money at Rs 100/- each (or Rs 200 for a pack of two). It works well with indian plugs and US plugs. It its a kind of lose with EU (the ones with thin pins) style plugs (See pictures). It might not fit German plugs - however, I haven't tried this. It has a power-indicator at the top which is sometimes useful. I see that some people had issues using the bottom 2-pin socket. But, I feel the bottom pins placed at an angle add more support than the one directly pointing down. (The problem with sockets directly pointing down is that the plugs can fall down due to gravity). It looks cooler than any other adapters especially, the black ones. Overall it should be a 5-start quality product but lost marks for the loose-fitting with thin type plugs (most of our mobile chargers fall in this category). I placed 3 packs of two each (6 units) so, almost all the rooms have one of these. (You know these days, you need to charge everything - including your bt-head-phones, power-bank, mobile, tablets and laptops). Never connect (or at least avoid) heavy wattage appliances (such as a big LCD TV, XBOX/PS4 etc), in general power-splitters are not designed for them (you may get sparks and something can burn off -- it could be dangerous)
