WM チーズ&バターカーラー WM3110

ニュージーランドの旅行中、B＆Bで出た巻貝のようなバター、アンティーク市で買った道具とのことで、旅行中、そして帰国してから、名前も分からず、探しぬいたのですが、見つからず、ようやくここにたどり着きました。さて、使い時ですが、バターを削るとき、取っ手として使いたい部分がカッターを兼ねているので、素手で持つには痛くて力が入らず、布かペーパーで包まないと使い辛いです。バターの方さにより、ボロボロになったり、なかなか理想通りにはいきません。頑張って、使いこなしたいです。

一度食洗器にかけただけで黒くさびて手や食べ物にもサビが付着し使えない状態になった。

I used to have another butter-curler before. Its design was cuter, more elegant than this one. But this one is more convenient. Highly recommended.

In the past, bought a butter curler (knife) which was good only when the pound of butter was flat. With this tool, it works every time no matter what. Simply perfect. My hubby had a stroke and it is hard for him to pick some butter with a regular knife. With this, no problem at all. More than highly recommended.

This little gizmo is great for butter curls and other artistic ways of presenting butter that is rock hard straight from the 'fridge. If you live in a very warm climate like me, butter is always kept in the 'fridge and is well nigh unusable for a while unless you have one of these garnishing tools. Haven't used it on anything else but I would guess it works well on hard cheese too.

Es un buen decorador de cocina. Tiene múltiples usos, tales como hacer fragmentos rizados de mantequilla para presentar en la mesa. Para ello se requiere un poco de práctica. También puede utilizarse para hacer ondulaciones sobre una cubierta cremosa de una tarta. En conjunto, un buen utensilio de cocina.
