What are the dimensions of the 1litre jug (hxwxd) and is it flexible plastic or rigid/brittle plastic? Thanks

The general diameter is 12.5cm / 5 inches with the handle and spout W18cm / 7 inches, then the H14.5cm / 5 3/4 inches. It’s made from PP so reasonable rigid I.e. it holds its shape during use. Obviously food safe, BPA free, dishwasher, microwave and fridge safe. Has litres, ml, pints and floz measurements so something for everyone! Enjoy using.

Can i use this in boiling water to melt wax in?

I wouldn't advise it, I use an old cooking pot on the cooker to melt wax. Then fill a mould to make candles!

How many ounces does it go up to? (Does it measure a full 2 pints)?

It holds just over 1 litre / 35 fl oz / 1.8 pints. It will take 2 pints, but only if you fill it right up to the brim. The only negative about the jug is that, unless they've changed it since I bought mine a few months ago, the measurements marked on the side aren't that easy to read. I hope this helps.
