A Fine Read
I read and finished this book in one evening.I loved the photographs.. and the open-air-soaring feelingI got when looking at the photos of the scenery fromthe mountain. Or, trying to imagine how different thescenery might have looked 75,000 years ago.I have a theory about the reason for this flat-topped rock, which you'll read about in this book. I wonder if thereason for the flattening out is so that one wouldhave gotten a smack-dab level viewing of Orion'sBelt front and center? A perfect alignment.I suspect this calendar is named after Adam, becausethe name itself refers to the first astronomical view-finderof the night sky. (although I suspect there may beother calendars waiting to be discovered).I also enjoyed this book because..here was a normalguy, Johan Heine, who because of his 'obsession' with a bunchof stones, was able to bring forth this discovery, for the restof us to discover via this book.

Interesting book, definitely recommend.
I liked the photographs. There was some new information. I didn't like the speculative tone of the narration and the speculative nature of the theory.

Enthralling book.
So glad I bought this book. You have to keep an open mind, and understand that some of this history is biblical in documentation. But it answers a few questions I have had, that humans were not the first inhabitants of post-dinosaur earth. In fact, someone else not only lived on earth before "us" but with "us" for quite a few years. Who were they?

Who Knew?
This book changes everything we thought we knew about the history of the planet. The authors are the Sherlock Holmes of archaeology.

Adam's Calendar
A very good reference book. I hope the author writes a follow up, if more information can be found on exactly the who, where, when and why can be answered.

Three Stars
Interesting but poorly written and poorly edited.

Less theory, more science needed.
It is a very interesting read but the theory behind the dating of the structures seems a bit questionable. There needs to be a more scientific investigation, which the authors do call for.

Ok but wouldn't recommend
Read this book in 2 hours, it has very little to offer really. Seem like it was published in a rush so as to get some cash together to fund the next book or next lot of reasearch. I know that's how things are done these days but maybe best to save your money and buy book 2 instead?
