Some of the tracks that caught my eye on board.....disc one..... 'The Jackson's' --'ABC'...'Rose Royce' --'Car Wash'...'Anita Ward' --'Ring my Bell'...'The Real Thing' --'Can you Feel the Force'.... 'The Temptations' --'Papa was a Rolling Stone'...and...'Yvonne Elliman' --'If I Can't Have You' ...just a few memories from disc one, on disc two ...'The Boomtown Rats' --'I Don't Like Mondays'...'Madness' --'My Girl' ...'Thin Lizzy' --'The Boys are Back in Town'...'Sweet' --'Blockbuster' ...'Status Quo' --'Down Down'...'The Buggles' --'Video Killed The Radio Star' ..'Rachel Sweet' --'B.A.B.Y'...and...'Nazereth' --'Love Hurts'(it doesn't matter how many versions I hear of 'Love Hurts' great song, love all versions I've heard down the years....again just a few tracks that caught my eye among many on disc Two...on disc three...'Kool and the Gang' --'Ladies Night'... 'Earth Wind and Fire' --'Boogie Wonderland'...'Bacarra' --'Yes Sir I can Boogie' 'Donna Summer' --'I Feel Love'...Gloria Gaynor' --'I Will Survive'...Leo Sayer'...'Thunder in my Heart'...and...'Peaches and Herb' --'Shake your Groove Thing'....just one or two highlights on disc three....on disc four...10cc' -- 'Dreadlock Holiday'...'Mungo Jerry' --'In the Summertime'...'Smokey Robinson and the Miracles' --'Tears of a Clown'...'New Seekers' --'You won't find another Fool like Me' as well as 'I'd Like To Teach the World to Sing' (the latter of the two 'New Seekers' songs started life as a 'Coca-Cola Add' becoming a number '1' single for the group)...'Mott the Hoople' --'All The Young Dudes'...and...'Chris Rea' --'Fool if you Think it's Over'....certainly some great sounds on disc four, ...on disc five...'Cher' --'Gypsies Tramps and Thieves'...'Guys and Dolls' -- 'You don't Have to Say you Love Me'...'The Sylistics' --'You make Me Feel Brand New'...'The Three Degrees' --'When Will I See You Again'...'Joe Jackson' -- 'Is She Really Going Out With Him ?'...'Dan Hill' --'Sometimes When we Touch' ...'John Travolta'--'Greased Lightning'...and...'The Bellamy Brothers' -- 'Let your Love Flow'....again just a few of the great sounds on disc five. This is a great-value 5-CD compilation (at it's current price of £6.90) full of great 'Pop' sounds from the magical seventies, certainly worth checking out. (as an earlier reviewer pointed out there do seem to be a few re-recordings on board, however overall it is a pretty good 100 number compilation)

Happy with purchase overall.
My order arrived very quickly. When I pushed the set out of the case all the disc holders broke off, but all the discs seem to be like new. For the price I am pleased with the purchase.

Good But Too Many Fillers
I bought this CD recently, because I love music from the 1970s. However, I was a bit disappointed with this album. Don't get me wrong, there are a good few classic tracks, but there are also far too many fillers and soul tracks, which I am not a big fan of. I found myself skipping quite a few of these songs, which is always a bad sign to me. I did look at the tracklisting before I bought it, but in the cold light of day it didn't seem as good after. I will consider the songs more carefully before I buy any more CDs of this type in the future and I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this album. Three stars from me, which I feel is an accurate rating and very generous. If you are looking for a good album of 1970s music, then my advice would be to carry on looking.
