This is a great condiment to use in a wide variety of ways to enhance your food.
As someone who is a real bacon lover who likes bacon with just about every kind of food but had never tried bacon bits in the past. While shopping on line I saw this product (Hormel real bacon bits, 3 oz. bottle) on Amazon and decided to purchase it. I was very impressed with the super quick delivery service and began using the Hormel bacon bits that evening for super on my salad, soup, potatoes and steak. I loved it and intend to use it all the time in my future meals to spice up the meal. If you are a bacon lover you may want to check out the Hormel real bacon bits on your own food. Rating: 5 Stars. REAL BACON! NOT NO STINKING IMITATION!
Instead of some brands whose “bacon” bits r just small crunchy imposters, where as these r actually real strips of bacon cut up into nice little, but perfect pieces of bacon to put wherever. I mainly use it for salads, but it also taste delicious to take a can of green beans add a few tbsp of the bacon bits and bring to a boil then back the heat off to just simmer, stirring occasionally on the stove. Once they have been on for at least 15 mins it’s ready to eat. The longer u cook together for though the more flavor renders out of the bacon bits and into the green beans. Salt & pepper to taste and optional a few tbsp of butter. Butter goes in when u first add the green beans and bacon bits to the pot. It wouldn’t hurt to season at this point either. Make sure to season again prior to eating.

Good to add to a salad if you dont have time to make bacon. Also great for a quick dip. Amazon's price is cheaper than local stores.
