Chrome Bottle Trap Basin Waste Bathroom Sink Pipe Adjustable Height & Outlet

Unable to review the actual part as this looked good but unfortunately did not fit. The sellers were very helpful and offered a full refund.

Just ordered this unit had a bother fitting it as the outlet is smaller than the waste pipe, therefore did not fit my plastic discharge pipe. I noticed from the reviews other people had the same problem. I managed to solve it using the top half of the old waste trap which in my case had not failed, only the bottom half had perished. Why the inlet and outlet holes are different I don’t know. Other than that it was fine. PaulJust a last point, my old traps inlet and outlet were both the same size.

This was a big improvement on my previous trap. It looks nice and works well. The pop-up waste is good, no chains dangling and eventually getting broken off the plug.Easy to install.The only problem was that I couldn't get the protective 'paper' off the trim that sits against the wall on the outlet.

Isn’t compatible with 32mm waste pipes. Poor quality.

Poor quality and evidently not made for the UK or EU market - this is very thin gauge (feels more like tin), and although the pipe is close to 32mm this is too small for standard 32mm pushfit or compression fittings, instead relying on a clumsy rubber bung to make the fitting (photo shows the new pipe inside the old pipe to show the difference). Evidently made for a non-EU / non-UK market that uses different specifications. It’s going back.

Easy to fit, seems to be working well so far!

I had to order 2 as some of the parts were missing. Can be difficult to seal. They do actually fit 35 mm push fit which some of the others don't. They look a decent quality when fitted
