FitFlop Women's Flora Metallic Flip-Flop

I have had 3 pair of fit flops over the last 4 years, and I love them! Whether they are dressed up or down, I always get compliments. All of the styles that I've chosen have had a thong split next to the big toe, and prior to this pair, there was no break-in period. They fit great from the moment I took them out of the box. This pair, for some reason, was very stiff at the thong between the toes. It actually left a bit of a red abrasion the first couple of times that I wore them. But I have persevered, as I absolutely love this design! Now, 3 days in, the thong has softened, and they fit like my older fit flops. Just be forewarned that you'll have a bit of a break-in period when your toes may not like you much.

FitFlop is the only brand of shoe I wear. I have been wearing them for approximately 8 years. Typically they run true to size, but the uppers on these (the metallic part of the shoe) was very loose fitting and allows for too much movement. If it had been tighter, I believe I would have had a problem with the material the uppers were made from. As it is, I don't wear them long enough to irritate my foot.

My fitflops usually run a little big but these actually run small. The width is fine but the length didn’t give me as much room as I have with my other sandals. If you’re in between sizes my recommendation would be to size up. Also the thong on these is not as comfortable as some of the other styles. It’s still a great sandal and well crafted.

These are my least favourite Fitflops for two reasons: (a) the leather is very stiff and I have to break them in (I actually got a blister from one of them rubbing on the top of my foot) and (b) They are VERY shiny (not in a good way)! I am wearing them around the house.

it is a little to big over the feet, the width and the length are perfect. The color is totally cool, in different light it look has the shine of pewter, then it can look a dull black or even a dull gray

The shoe seem to run a bit wide across the top part of the foot.Foot slides around a bit making it a little harder to walk in trying to keep the shoe on.I guess if you had a wider foot with higher arch, this shoe would work.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! When the weather permits, they are my go to shoes every time. I have health issues and it's very hard for me to stand for any length at a time, but these shoes make it possible for me to keep going much longer. They're the perfect combo of cute, comfy and squishy wonderfulness! They're not cheap, but they are a perfect investment shoe and well worth it if you can swing the mula for it. They recommend getting a larger size. I did and regret it. They were so comfortable that I wore them outside instead of returning them right away, but they're the flip flop version, so you can get away with it. I would recommend just getting your regular size.

Apparently FitFlop struggles with sizing. I have worn other FitFlop shoes that I LOVE! But the last two pairs I bought were either too small or too big. This pair is way too big, as in so big they won't stay on my feet. I forgot I bought them so I didn't try them out and now I can't return them because I'm past the 30 day return policy. Sucks! Buy a smaller pair of these shoes if you get them. They also rub pretty bad between the toes.
