Is this a 40 l bag for 14.99 £?

Hi home bargains sell the EXACT same compost for £1.99 a bag exact same size of bag 40ltr!! 🤷♂️

Why has my compost come in plain black covering and not whats pictured

Good compost delivered quickly in original bag with a plain black outer cover. Out of interest I googled the product and found that GROWMORE don't make compost. They only make plant food and fertiliser . GROWMOOR do make compost and label all their products quite clearly - i was happy with the product.

Can I add perlite to the compost for sewing seeds

Perlite is best used for potting, it retains moisture but is quite coarse. I would just use compost for seed germination, pot on using perlite once the plants are past the seedlings stage.
