This collar worked great for ONLY 2 days and it CANNOT be worn as stated in product description:"...you'll have no problem securing a correct and comfortable fit that will effectively allow the collar to be worn for up to two weeks or more."After 2 days of use on both of my labs who were spayed and collar properly fitted developed bacterial skin irritations beneath their fur after 2 days of use. This collar does not allow air circulation beneath the collar and needs to be removed daily, cleaned, and allowed to dry completely, as well as the dogs neck. I have since found blogs stating that they should not be worn longer than 8-10 hours which does not work for a dog that needs it 24/7. We went back to the old fashion Dome of Shame plastic bell shaped collars.This would be an excellent collar if the plastic had breathing holes and was lined with a replaceable reusable liner (3 would be good) so that they could be changed out and cleaned for reuse 3 times per day.

Keep in mind this is not a replacement for the dreaded cone for all situations. This allows for some ability to reach feet but effectively limits the ability to reach the rear end. Goes on easy and my dog doesn't seem to mind it.About some of the negative reviews, I suggest you try the e-collar or what I refer to as the dreaded cone. When I put the cone on my dog would not move and was miserable. If your condition permits this collar was great.

My dog was licking his front paws raw due to a yeast infection. Although this did not claim it would prevent him from reaching his front paws, it worked remarkably well until the one week treatment was completed. I can't comment on the comfort but my dog tolerated the collar well even though it required a tight fit. He could eat, drink and sleep well with it on.

This did not work for my German Shepard puppy. The item received two stars because maybe it will work for a dog with a body that is not as long or if the incision was on the upper body rather than near the rear-from being spayed.

We found (and adopted) a street dog that is active, smart , and relentless. I tried getting her used to traditional Elizabethan collars before her surgery to get spayed- she would not have it! Would claw at her neck and within 2 minutes have it off no matter if it was a tied on/collar held version or a snap version. Then tried the blow up collars- she couldn't get it off but she clawed at it until it was either going to pop or she was going to injure herself. I ordered this and she doesn't even act like there's anything foreign on her. Her vision isn't blocked (like a cone) and there isn't anything weird in her peripheral vision (blow up collars-). Well worth the purchase!

I bought this for my dog after we neutered him to prevent him licking himself and the wound. He is a big dog, 33" tall and 135 pounds so I got the XXL size I did not see a size chart anywhere. The product seems well made and is easy to put on and take off. However, it absolutely does not prevent my dog from licking his penis/suture area. It is back to the cone of shame for him for another few days.

This is a great product! My girl has MCT (mast cell tumors) on her back leg. The biggest on her foot. Even with a cone, she could still lick it. Not with this product. I think I got it a little too big, but it has served its purpose. Very soft and cushion on the inside. I was afraid to put on too tight, but she has been very good in it. Thank you! Hopefully I never need another, but would order of I ever did.

I am so impressed with these collars. Way better than the regular cone & much more comfortable for your dog.

Ich habe einen sehr großen 50 kg Hund und der hatte eine Bein OP. der Halskragen schränkt nicht so ein wie die Halskrause. Der Hund kann sich bewegen und bleibt nicht dauern an Tisch und Tür hängen, wenn er zum Pullern humpelt. Und er kommt hinten an sein Bein definitiv nicht dran. Kann gut mit Schlafen und ist für Ihn viel bequemer als der sonst verwendete Trichter. Für große Hunde prima geeignet.

Leider kam das Teil erst an, als ich es nicht mehr benötigte. Habe es trotzdem behalten für zukünftige Fälle. Es macht einen stabilen Eindruck und bei der Anprobe schien es, dass der Hund wenig Spielraum hat, um an Wunden am Körper heranzukommen. Kann leider nicht sagen, wie sehr es den Hund in seiner Bewegung einschränkt oder wie die Akzeptanz ist.

Great collar. Allowed my dog to work after his surgery. The only downside was that optional strap. I didn't use it, and there was no good way to keep it from dangling. I tucked it in, but it would come out. My other dog yanked it off in play, so now it's not an option. Maybe something detachable?
