Love this light. I have it connected with Alexa and it is a wonderful light that adds to atmosphere of my living room.. With all the different colors it shows whatever color paint you may have on your walls it accents the color beautifully

I had a floor lamp in an old school plug in timer, that would go on and off at the exact time every day. This light is fantastic for random on and off times, making me feel secure about leaving my house for days at a time. It will even change colors for your “I’m at home” feeling. Incredibly easy to assemble and setting times in Ailofy AND Alexa app! Impressed with the LED colors as well

This is a very cool light. Maybe not the best reading light but it works. Good for ambient lighting with the many colors and functions. Multi-colors and can be controlled by the app. There were several negative reviews about the app but it has worked great for me, and it is easy to use.

It’s a great product especially if you’re looking to spice the room up with color. Very functional and you can use the app to control it remotely

This lamp had exactly one job, which was to turn on automatically in the morning around when I want to wake up. The lamp did that job perfectly, until an app update removed this functionality -- literally the only reason I bought the lamp. If you buy this product, be aware that a software engineer who you will never meet can break your lamp from a distance.

UPDATE (2025) The app is horrible. It’s designed so cryptic, it’s difficult to figure out simple things, and rarely works. I like to set these lamps (I have 2), to dim night lighting “ON” at dusk, and “OFF” at whichever programmed time I had chosen for each lamp. So often, I walk into a dark room, as they have not gone on, or will notice that they are still on in the morning. The communication with Alexa is spotty, and if I was able to go through Alexa for dusk/dawn, I would have set a color through the app and just done the timing with Alexa. But, until Alexa has that capability, we are stick using the app the product came with in conjunction with Alexa app. Honestly, I am more surprised when the lights go ON/OFF as programmed. So, Took a star away (again) Original Review: Very easy to put together, just snap pieces in place & download the app. Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, being so many seem cheaply made, but this one can come across as very minimalistic and contemporary which suits my decor. The only thing I do wish was that it were longer(which I have yet to find), because I feel that it would look slightly more upscale and less novelty. I like the fact that I can set it up with my Alexa, or even have the option of using it with its own timer if preferred . It does “remember” the last light setting, which is a plus & is perfect for my application of using it as a background nightlight tucked into the corner where a floor lamp is not an option. The app has several preset modes, which offer a variety of choices for different user preferences, as well as the availability to customize your own settings. The daylight mode seems pretty true, and it has the flexibility to set the lamp to a brighter setting than I was expecting. I opted for this lamp because of the features mentioned above, color changing capabilities if I desire, but most of all, the style was what set it apart from the other brands I shopped. This white one with its small, contemporary base disappears into the room without being distracting. Having a brushed nickel or other metal option (and at least a foot or two longer) would be a nice to see on this lamp. ****Update- 9/2024- I have two of these lamps. I use them with Alexa-type smart plug. While one works fine, the other dos not seem to want to follow the rules. Ive switched plugs, outlets and finally lamps. Uninstalled and re-installed apps., etc. It’s definitely the one original lamp that is the issue. I use it as a nightlight, and find that while it turns on 99% of the time, 50% of the time I have to manually turn it off more days than not. Im downgrading 5 stars to 4 bc of this issue.

These are great lamps for a media room. Good quality, especially for the price. Lots of options for effects and can be controlled in groups.
