They don't like really windy conditions, but for up to 10mph winds they are minute of starling at 100 yards. If you're running these in a PCP with spiraling issues, crank up your hammer spring. Seems these like a little extra air to stabilize them. At 50 yards these and my 28.5gr NSA slugs have the exact same point of impact. They make a very loud and satisfying "smack" sound when they hit.. organic targets. This group is at 100 yards on an old piece of metal.

These are the most accurate pellets in my Air Ventura Avengers.
Up until now, JSB pellets have been better than the many other pellets that I have tried in both of my Avengers. The 16 grain and 18 grain JTS are clearly better(in the .22) and are a noticeably harder lead composite. The .25 are at least equal to the JSB's and maybe marginally better, but seem to be the same soft lead alloy as the JSB's. In this case, price and availability determines my choice. Only downside -- "Made in China"
