This does connect to the subwoofer out on the receiver but it is NOT for a powered subwoofer. This is an amplifier to be used with a passive sub not a sub with a built in amplifier.

Usually they’re either 3.5mm or 5.5mm or 2.1mm. Those are the standards.

Can this amp be wired to push a 4 ohm dvc car sub? do i wire in parallel? it would see a 2 ohm load this way, i believe. thanks!

Yes it can handle a 2 ohm load. I have two 12" subs hooked up to mine now and one of them is a kicker L5. This one amp shakes my house and never clips or gets hot.
