Your car vents have to be long enough to hook this holder on (I have a 2025 Kia Soul & it fits perfectly). Otherwise it is a great and sturdy phone holder. It holds the phone securely and it tilts. My son has the older version in his 2013 jeep that he has had for 2 years. It is still working just fine. It is still awesome.

I purchased this to replace one I bought from Amazon that had the little hook that held the holder in place. When you tighten it it would damage your vents. This one does not. This one grips firmly without breaking your car vents. It’s sturdy and holds positions well!! You have to determine which side it works best on. I have a 2012 Sobata and because of the wiper lever it works best on the left side. I recommend just keep in mind your car design.

The mount is great. Fits my phone nicely. Only downfall is the case I had was a little too bulky. If you have a pop socket you’ll want to take it off. Or a wallet case. Otherwise, the phone mount holds my phone well and is easy to use.

I have been searching for a reliable and sturdy car mount for my iPhone for freaking EVER. My windshield mount broke and I was u able to repair it. The biggest problem with my windshield mount was the exposure to the sun and heat and in Oklahoma it’s like positioning your phone right to a fire…. literally. So when I saw the interlocking design of this iPhone car vent mount, immediately the security of it locking in place, and no holding it close to a fire like I was having iPhone smores!!! I’ve had it for a week and I’m so happy with this purchase. Its design allows me access to it safely and keeps it sturdy. It’s definitely quality material and there was forethought into its design. Even its placement doesn’t obscure the rear view camera when I’m backing up. It’s lightweight and super easy to lock into place.

I’m very happy with this VICSEED car phone holder and have had a great experience using it. It was very easy to install into the vent in my car and feels secure once it is in place. My phone stays firmly in the holder and has not fallen out while I’m driving, even when going over bumps. The mount feels sturdy and well made, and the overall quality is much better than I expected for the price. It is also easy to put my phone in and remove it when needed. Overall, this is a great-quality phone holder at a great price, and I would definitely recommend it.

Not great. I bought this to replace my three-year-old mount that was no longer staying stable.After having this new one installed for just one day, it still moves around. While it is not quite as bad as the old one, it is still frustrating. This stability issue might be because I use a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is a relatively heavy phone.However, a mount should keep your device completely secure. You shouldn't have to readjust your phone every ten seconds just because a bump in the road caused it to shift.

I previously purchased two VICSEED magnetic mounts—which I love—for my SUV. My wife, however, prefers this side-clamp style mount over the more discreet magnetic style mount, so we spent the last two weeks testing this phone mount in her sedan. She has been using it with her iPhone 11 with case as shown in the video. She absolutely loves it over the junk we have purchased in the past. (I am embarrassed to admit I have spent an obscene amount of money trying one style mount after another in an attempt to find one that works for her needs.) As they say, "Happy wife, happy life!" Pros: * The unit is shipped with two different mounting devices which should adapt to a variety of car vent arrangements. The device that worked best for us was the small, simple, twist-on vent clamp. * The padded side clamps adjust to any size phone and grip the phone tightly without scratching. The side clamps have a built-in ratchet mechanism that will not allow it to loosen its grip while driving over speed bumps and potholes. Other units we have tried had only spring tension and the phone would pop out on bumps. One unit which cost me $85 plus shipping required a screwdriver to set the tension on the side clamps. Too tight and we could not remove the phone. Too loose and it would fall out while driving! With this unit, It only takes one hand to pop the phone in or out of the holder—not two hands like some units we have tried in the past. * The side clamps release instantly with a single press of the easily accessible button on the lower left side as shown in the video. Again, it takes only one hand. So convenient! * The discreet platform on the bottom of the mount has an opening which allows you the option of attaching the charging cable to the phone. It is padded as well and adjusts up or down to your liking. * The holder is attached to the vent clamp with a ball-and-socket joint so you can adjust the unit to any angle and to allow portrait or landscape viewing modes on the fly. * We prefer attaching to the vent over other styles which attach to the windshield, dash, visor or cup holder. These other styles block your view of the road or as in the case of the cup holder styles, cause you to look down and away from the road. Besides, my wife prefers to keep her coffee in the cup holder! * Unit looks and feels high quality. Sturdy materials, not cheap plastic. * Although written instructions are provided in the box, assembly and installation is simple and intuitive. * The price is right! Cons: * As you would expect, because the unit is mounted to the air conditioning vent, the phone will partially block the flow of air from the vent. * On my wife’s car, the up and down motion of the louvers is restricted. However, the side to side movement of the vent is not affected so she can still receive air from the vent. Your car’s style may produce different results from ours. * Depending on the design of your car’s instrument panel, the phone may block some controls. On my wife’s car, this is not the case.

I was searching and searching for a holder that would accommodate a large phone and bulky otterbox case and a lot of them didn't work. This one holds my phone perfectly with some additional room. Very satisfied with it!
