Works perfectly, great price for the features.
I recently tested another WAVLINK dock recently as was pretty disappointed with it, I have to say through that this was a different story entirely. This dock has a plethora port ports, 3 x HDMI and 3 x DP, 100w charging for M1/2/3/4 Apple silicon Mac's, multiple USB portsThis unit is a fairly pricey £139.99 but this one is miles ahead of the other model I reviewed and delivered on all promises made. Both the Tower unit and PSU get a little warm but no more, you have several USB ports on the front USB C's and a single USB and an Audio connections with SD/TF memory card slots. No cables hanging out of the front unless you need to put them there.I then went on to test the USB connectivity, I had issues with the previous model where I saw disconnections, this was annoying as it was a backup drive then kept disconnecting in the middle of backups. I had no issues at all, the dock has been running for almost a week now and no issues whatsoever. The PSU uses a regular power socket as opposed to USB C and this seems to have made a big difference. video sockets, USB, and host connectivity + RJ45 are all on the back of the unit tucked away leaving the front clean and tidy. There is a power switch on top of the unit which is a little odd as it could be easily turned off but other than that its great, does exactly what it says in the Ad.The audio, Ethernet port and memory card ports work well and are fast.Another thing I really like about this dock is the fact the dock side of the USB C host connection has a screw that allows you to secure the data cable into the dock, several times over the last few years whilst testing I have managed to knock out the cable from various devices and its a bit of a pain. This one though resolves the issue perfectly as shown in the photos too.Very happy with this dock

All the connectivity you could possibly need, excellent build quality, and a 100W power supply
Having reviewed WAVLINK hubs previously, I thought that this laptop docking station would be a good product, and indeed it is… It arrived nicely packaged, with everything you need, including a power supply and 1m custom USB-C to C cable, with a lock screw for secure connection to the rear panel (and a screwdriver). You can use it with any laptop or device that has USB-C connectivity, but to realise the full potential of this docking station, you need to make sure that your device has ‘full-function USB-C’ / Thunderbolt 3/4 support (i.e. most modern laptops).Everything that you might want to regularly plug in and unplug, is dealt with at the front of this smart looking, upright, black and silver-grey docking station. And, everything that normally stays connected, e.g. power, network, monitors, fixed peripherals etc., plug in at the back.It sits firmly on any suitable horizontal surface, and provides all the rear connectivity you could possibly require, with Gig Ethernet, 2 x HDMI/DisplayPort (2K@60Hz) and a third HDMI port (4K@60Hz) that should keep gamers happy. There are 2 x rear-facing USB-A 3.0 ports, and in addition to the power and USB-C laptop connection there’s also a security slot (to attach a K-lock).There’s a power button on the top and the following front facing ports/slots: 1 x MicroSD/TF and 1 x SD card reader slot, both of which are allocated a drive letter, and can be accessed simultaneously. There are also 2 x 10G USB-C ports (1.5A), a USB-A 3.0 port (5G) and, last but not least, a 3.5mm (4-band) audio port for headsets etc.Priced at £139.99 when reviewed, it’s quite expensive, but you get a lot for your money… All the connectivity you could possibly need, excellent build quality, and a 100W power supply.Highly recommended.

Brilliant dock, but mostly 1080P monitors only and high price tag.
This review is for a USB-C docking station, branded Wavlink, priced at a hefty £139.99In the box are the docking station itself, a 130W power brick with UK power cable, a (proprietary) USB-C to USB-C cable, a small screwdriver and an instruction sheet.Features are multiple monitor support via HDMI and DP, gigabit ethernet, SD and microSD card reader, 3 USB3.0 USB A ports at5Gbps, 2 USB-C 10Gbps and an analogue audio port. All ports are clearly labelled. DP up to 100W is available to the laptop. The dock connects to the laptop via the supplied proprietary 1m USB-C cable, one end has an integral screw to ensure a perfect, stable connection. This screw aside, it looks like a standard 10Gnbps/100W USB-C cable, and probably could be replaced with a standard cable if required if you were happy to lose the physically secure connection that the screw provides. A screwdriver is supplied to assisted with using the screw. Both the dock and the power brick feel well made, and have some weight. The base of the dock has a cushioned base to keep the dock in position - so many of the cheap ones slide about too easily with the thick cables plugged in.On the monitor front, there are 5 ports, split into 2 groups (Group 1 and Group 2), each with a HDMI and DP port, plus a separate HDMI port. Only 1 port can be used in each display group. It implies you can use 3 monitors, though I had issues with just 2 initially. It could be, after much head scratching, due to one of mine being a 2.7K monitor. It appears the 2 display groups on the back of the hub can only support up to 2K (1080P in reality), and the 3rd up to 4K on HDMI only.In use, once I'd got over the issue above, the dock performed flawlessly. A set of drivers are required for Windows, but auto install via Windows Update, so will install even if you don't have admin rights as long as your organisation allows driver updates from Microsoft. A driver is also required for Macs, but has to be installed manually. The dock did get warm to the touch after a few hours of use, driving 2 monitors, as well as charging a nearly flat laptop.Compared to the lower cost USB-C docks, this one carries a hefty price premium, though remember does include the power supply, and build quality is significantly higher than most. It's on a par with most laptop manufacturer's premium USB docks for quality with the added benefit of a card reader, but significantly cheaper than those. The price, however, is the main reason it doesn't quite manage 5 stars.
