Easy for the elderly with poor eyesight to use.
Easy to use for the end user. SIngle button to press to cycle through; first press gives the time and the second press gives the date and day of the week all in a make voice that is clearly heard. For the care giver, it is a little cumbersome to set the date and time with the two buttons on the back of the keychain but once you understand the process it takes about 2-3 minutes to set the date and time. I will have to reset the date and time for my elderly father twice a year with the time change. The first time you do it you might have a little trial and error. My father just received it and loves it. It solved a major problem for us since he could no longer tell the time via his wall clock or his alarm clock. He can wander the retirement home with his walker and when he needs to know if it is close to lunch or dinner, he can pull out the keychain and depress the black button one time and it tells him the time in a male voice. If needed, he can hold it up close to his ear but he found it easy to hear even held at waist level. There is no volume control but it is loud enough for his use but not loud enough to disturb the other retirement home residents when he is the hallway and checking the time. Well worth it and my father loves it.

Talking clock
Bought this for my dad who can no longer see his watch. He absolutely loves it. Keeps it in his shirt pocket, press the button and tells you the time. Voice is loud and clear. A lot of his friends like it and asked where he got it. A little tricky to get the time set, but follow directions exactly and it works. Battery life is very good. Has key chain attachment but I don't recommend putting it in your pocket with keys and other stuff, too many inadvertent button presses. Overall, it works great and is perfect for anyone who cant see their watch or a clock and likes to keep up with the time.

Not all Features Worked
The clock was purchased for a newly blinded older friend. The sound volume is fine. Setting it by some sighted is pretty easy. Size is hand size and works. Couple of issues..... 1) the button pushed to obtain the voice is too small and not easy to find for a blind person - needs to be more tactile. 2) after attempting many times, ! was unable to have the year given. It appeared to be set, but when the month, date, day was given, the year was not part of the announcement. The clock was good for my friend and he likes it as it gives him control of tracking time, date and day pf week.

Very Easy to Use
I am very pleased with this watch. It came a day earlier than promised and was very easy to set. I got it for my 93 year old mother who is blind. The voice is loud and clear and easy for her to hear, and I like that the buttons to set it are on the opposite side from the one to announce the time so it's easy for her to find the right button. I was afraid the button was too small and would be hard for her to feel, however she has had no problem with it. It might be easier though if it was bigger. Also, the battery compartment is easy to open , so I don't think it will be hard to change the battery, which has been an issue with others I've had. We've only had it a week or so, so I don't know yet about how long it will last, but so far, it's been excellent.

No battery life
Got this for my mother, who has poor eyesight. It is a nice little unit and initially she thought that it would be great. The first battery she put in only lasted two weeks. Now she is changing the battery out every 10 days or so. Extremely poor battery life and not acceptable. Would never recommend this product, especially as it is difficult for those with poor eyesite to change a tiney battery.

Gives you ability to hear time without being able to see
As my fatherโs eyesight started to dim he carried Cirbic talking keychain in his shirt pocket so he always knew what time it was. His hearing was also dimming and he it was loud enough for him to hear. Had to change batteries often

Know your needs before purchasing
I thought this would help my visually impaired 86 y/o father but the reset buttons are exposed and he ended up messing up the settings I did for him after 2 days. It might be a personal issue but it would be very helpful if the settings buttons have a slide cover of some sort. Especially for the blind. Volume is not adjustable so it can be loud in a quiet place. Iโve put a sticker over the speaker holes which help to muffle the volume. Great concept but for my purposes, it didnโt work well for my dad.

Announces the time in a loud and clear voice
Announces the time in a clear, loud voice, well made, setting was simple (press both buttons), and the easily replaceable battery is a big plus. An improvement from the different slightly smaller keychain talking clock I previously used that had finicky buttons and required dealing with screws to replace the battery.

Helpful little device!
This talking clock keychain is an invaluable tool for visually impaired seniors. We purchased it for my 92-year-old father-in-law, who is legally blind, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. The device provides essential time information in a clear, accessible format, offering both independence and peace of mind for him and his caregivers. The keychain's North American English voice is easily understandable, even for those with hearing difficulties. It not only announces the time but also the day of the week, which is particularly helpful for seniors who may lose track of days. The contrasting button on the front is a bit small, but it's easy to locate and press, making it simple for him to use. Setting up the clock and alarm required assistance from us, but despite this very minor drawback, the device has significantly improved my father-in-law's daily life, allowing him to keep track of time independently and stay oriented throughout the week. This talking clock keychain has become an essential accessory for my visually impaired father-in-law, enhancing his autonomy and providing reassurance to our family. It's a simple yet effective solution for seniors facing similar challenges.

This will be quite helpful
I was pleased at how easy the set up was, after being initially fearful when I saw two pages of instructions. Granted, these are printed much larger than 99% of any I've seen for some time, and were extremely concise and helpful. The voice is mechanical; however, it is very clear. A volume adjustment feature would be kind of nice, but the item is not reading you a book, so I am fine with it. The clock is keeping good time thus far, and unless it stops functioning within the next two weeks, I'm very happy with my purchase, especially considering the cost of it being so reasonable.

Dead battery
It is a good idea for people with blindness. I got it for one of my residents who inorder to know eat time it is..he has to get up and turn his computer on so he can know the time. But, the same day I got it..for his birthday..it stopped. Dead battery. I changed it and it's working good so far. He is pleased with it. Set up is not to difficult.

A valuable item for people with failing vision, a little troublesome to do initial setup
My computer illiterate co-worker was looking for a talking clock to replacing the broken one his aging mom had been using. After doing some searching, I was surprised to see how expensive they were, typically well over $30 for a simple keychain version. I showed my co-worker all of the options, and we both agreed this version was the best suited for his mother and was one of the least expensive ones as well. I set up the clock for him, which was a bit of a hassle since the keychain doesn't have a redundant display and requires multiple button presses while the voice dictates different hours/minutes/days/months/years and you confirm them. Once the time was properly set however, a quick press of the larger front button causes the keychain to very clearly state the time. The audio is very clear and quiet loud, which is useful if the user also has failing hearing. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure there is no option to alter the voice level.
