So far, I like these mechanical pencils or lead holders. I bought from amazon warehouse which these came in good shape. The pencils seem fairly durable as I used one as a letter opener and was surprised I didn't break the lead. The grip could've been "grippier" but I like the metal grips more than the rubber or soft ones. The pencils have a sharpener at the ends of them built in that doesn't seem to be very strong, strong enough to make a point a little sharper after a couple revolutions. The lead carriers are a little low quality but strong enough to keep the lead from breaking, just not very showy/pretty. All in all, I expect these to last a long time with the 39 lead rods (3 in each pencil/3 12 packs)

I have preferred lead holders over pencils for drawing and writing for the past 20 years. I like to have an assortment of different leads pre-loaded into holders on hand for different projects. These holders for the cost with additional lead, work out perfectly for my various project needs. Holders and lead are working fine, no complaints.

Got these to mark lumber for cutting. These work great.

I rated average because it’s a bit thin and slippery for me.

The leads refills paint at least as HB leads type, not like the 2B leads ads. The 3 boxes are not labeled. I dislike this product.

My only complaint is that the tip unscrews easily. And I found myself tightening it occasionally but after I put a drop of thread lock on it and I haven’t had an issue.
