What is to like: Very elegant looking. I have had a lot of compliments on the set. The quality of the ceramic and metal is very good. The chairs are very comfortable. The fabric looks great and seems like it will last a long time.Delivery: The package was delivered about a week ahead of the original delivery date. When the package arrived, there was some slight damage to the packaging. There was no damage to the contents though. They did a very good job of packaging the product.Assembly: The table is heavy. I was glad that my son was visiting me when the package arrived so that I had help lifting the tabletop. I am 70 and my wife is 67. We would have had trouble lifting the tabletop if it was only the two of us. The directions were good, and assembly was easy. It only took my son, wife and me about 30 minutes to assemble. Used a 20mm socket and a ratchet instead of the cheap wrenches that they gave us.What is not to like: The hole for the umbrella is too big. The hole is 2.25 in diameter and then they put of desk type busing in the hole. This brings the hole down to 2.0. A standard umbrella pole is 1.5. This gives .5 of an inch for the umbrella to wobble around. This does not sound like much, but a slight wind will cause the umbrella to bounce around too much. I resolved the issue by using a smaller desk busing and inserting it in the desk bushing that was supplied.There is an L shaped ring around the outside of the table. The ring is there to protect the edges of the ceramic table. There is a slight gap between the L ring and the tabletop. This gap will collect dirt in time. I have two choices for resolving his. One is to seal the gap with clear silicon caulk. The other is just to plan on unbolting and removing the ring periodically for cleaning.Just and update on this product. We have had it almost 5 years now. It has been baking in the hot southern Arizona sun. We do not cover it. It is still in very good condition. Some of the metal parts are a little faded, but that is to be expected. The fabric on the chairs and umbrella are in very good condtion.

Beautiful looking patio set, looks stunning on my deck. Modern with a classy look and feel.Assembly was no issue for me solo, but keep in mind the base is somewhat heavy so you may or may not need another person for assistance.Quality seems to be on par, the width of the chairs is limited so if you're a big person this may not be the set for you. I used my existing table umbrella which fit fine. Also, a big design plus to this engineer is the welded seat frame that doesn't have numerous bolts to rust and loosed up over time.The only issue preventing a 5 star review is the orientation of the tiled table top surface to the table base. I would have assumed the tiles line up with the square base. Lets say the tiles start at 12 o'clock, well on my table the my base is offset or say rotated to 3 o'clock, which visually looks wrong to my eyes. Unfortunately, the table top is pre-drilled and you cannot rotate it to align the tile pattern to the square base. I reviewed the photos of the Amazon listing and you can see the tile pattern is NOT oriented to the square base. I would hope the manufacturer reads this review and makes the necessary correction, since it costs nothing to do this. Of course if the table base was round it would not matter and it would have received a 5 star review. Yes, it's just a visual blunder but good design is good design in my book.Finally, I also ordered a Vernanda canvas cover from Amazon which will protect my investment and is highly recommended for the very reasonable price.Edit: after having the patio set a little over (2) years I come outside to discover the table top had tilted to one side. Apparently the base has developed a crack. The base is made of a man made resin called Resysta consisting of rice, salt and mineral oil. I believe the base expanded from the excessive 90 degree heat and developed a crack in the base making the table top tilt. The web site said the base is covered by a 3 year warranty so hopefully I will be able to get a replacement part from them.

Beautiful furniture! I actually really love it. You may not get that from the next portion of my review but I believe in reporting both the good and the bad.The contents arrived exactly when they said they would. The delivery guys unloaded the boxes into my garage and were very efficient. As others have noted, the boxes for the table were crushed and ripped as the contents were extremely heavy. One of the boxes of chairs was also in pretty bad shape. Good news is that there was only one scratch on the table base and the table top weathered the rough shipping process just fine. Absolutely takes two to get the table top up on the base. All else can be accomplished easily by one person though.The furniture, while beautiful, wasn't perfectly manufactured. Had to do some create assembly as the areas where you screw the tabletop to the base wasn't attached by the factory straight. After finding some extra washers, I got the table top affixed to the base without any "play". The fabric for the chairs also wasn't exactly aligned straight. The space between the fabric and the top of the chair frame is slightly askew. I doubt anyone other then me will notice however. I was also missing the center stone plug for the table (fills the hole if you aren't using an umbrella) I called the 800 helpline and the customer service department was great. Unfortunately the plugs are on back order and not expected in from China for a few months. It's february so I'm not yet ready to sit outside so I'm fine with the delay. They are also sending me touch-up paint for the scratched base. With all of that being said, I would definitely order again. The furniture seems very sturdy and is exactly as pictured.
