Heavy Key Fob Cover Case Protector for Ford, Keychain, Accessories for Ford F150 Mustang Explorer Edge Fusion Lincoln MKZ MKC MKX (Model-B Silver)

I chose this one because it looks like something a sith lord would use. futuristic and beefy. love the way it looks. only con is that it is BIG and a tad on the heavy side.

Last year metal trim on my 10 year old key fob started peeling. I bought a cover from Amazon that was great initially. It was an elastic plastic material and covered the fob preventing the trim from snagging on things and doing more damage. Last week I needed to replace the batteries in my fob. While removing this cover it tore in several places as well as snapping a portion near the key ring opening completely off. I decided to get this new metal key fob cover which completely encased the fob. So far, a much better decision. I can not see how this metal key fob case will break during removal to change batteries. It does increase the overall size of the fob, but well worth it considering the added protection and longevity this one should provide. All the fob buttons work and it came with everything needed for assembly.

Bought this for my Ford Raptor F150 2017. Fits like a glove! Absolutely brilliant feels good in the hand and it is strong and sturdy, not a flimsy product. You will not be disappointed, i am buying a second one for my spare key!

Dude, this thing is exactly what I needed. My metal key ring portion of the fob kept breaking off so this thing completely replaces that for me. And it feels like the key to a Halo Warthog or something. Very well built. I might add some loctite to the screws since others are saying they get loose. Love it.

Expensive for what you get, but the materials are quality. Fits like a glove since you can adjust the screw tightness, and provides great protection to the key while retaining all button functionality, however you will no longer have access to the manual key for locking things like your glove box and center console. It is straightforward to install, but it would be nice if it were a tool-less install, as you cannot take the cover off if you don’t have the provided mini phillips screwdriver, which can be a pain if you need access to your manual key

Nice looking and seems to be well made, Glow in the dark feature could be stronger, could be used for self defense.

I gave it three stars because it is a heavy fob which does protect your key. The but top of it has a gap in it and likes to get caught on stuff and might break eventually. I haven't had any problems with the screws coming out. But it does come with extra ones. It says glows in dark but mine doesn't do that. I have left it in the sun and even used a uv light and still no glow. But in all great way to protect your car fob.

Ppl who made complaints about this magnificent $12 item has issues because this key Fob looks and feels great in hand. Man the sleek innovative design made me wanna hold on to my key more often so I can place it down anytime I’m around friends. I can show off the cool car key that keeps ppl guessing. What does he drive! lol The only way this fob can give any problems like Iv read in previous reviews is only if your a type of individual who can be more careless than you wanna admit because this thing looks too good not take care of. I keep it secure as much as I take care of my actual car. 😊

Works. Very bulky but it works to reduce accidental alarm button push. Also ordered Black and received silver which is why I can only give it 3 stars.
