Fits perfect and does what it's supposed to do
This Mercury cover is really nice. It appears to be of heavy duty fabric and feels thick. It's been holding very well and fits very well on the motor cowl. The cover is definitely tight. I mean to the point where I thought I might have ordered the wrong size. However, read the instructions and have perseverance. Eventually, you will get it on inch by inch and it will fit. Once on, the cover looks really nice and it has held up for the season. Stays on and has not flown off while towing the boat at 80mph, as I hate to lose this expensive cover. Everything about the cover is great but the cost of it is probably the worse con, as it is expensive and I believe you're probably just paying for the Mercury name & logo, which does look nice and is well printed on the cover.

Just what you need to protect your motor’s finish
Perfect, extremely tight fit. Looks great and provides excellent protection to the finish on your motor from bird droppings, rock chips, etc.

100% worth the money.
100 💯 Worth the money fits perfect on our outboard Mercury engines, they stay on and they don't come off easily thankfully, very durable. The material is perfect and water resistant as well. I'm so glad we got these.

Fits like a glove!
This cover does exactly what it is suppose to and fits like a glove. I was having constant issues with water spots on my cowl, I no longer have to worry about that and it's now protected from the sun as well. The cover itself is pricey, but I would purchase again if I had to. I've had no issues with it coming off during transport, those that have had issues, I'd have to wonder if it was installed correctly to begin with.

So tight that I haven’t been able to put it on my motor
Cover looks great…..seems like it’s well made. Big problem though…..I can’t get it on. The elastic doesn’t stretch enough. I like the idea of a really snug fit, but this is kinda crazy. For $250, the ease of use should be better. Hopefully with a little luck and a couple of more guys, I may be able to get it on…..it not…..it’s going in the trash or sell this thing for $100 bucks ….. Been too long for a refund…..my fault for waiting to put it on. Just for info…..I have a 2024 Pro XS 115 Four Stroke…..maybe this is made for older models.
