Great for narrower feet...
I've had trouble finding sandals that were narrow enough. These are narrow enough, even in the normal B width. I've tried many other higher end sandals all with the same problem, too wide. Even some of the other Aravon styles were too wide, but these are perfect. It even has some adjustment room to make them tighter with the Velcro straps, which will be a bonus as I know they will eventually stretch out. I learned my lesson from my last sandals (Alegria by PG lite), great sandals, reasonably priced, but I had the Velcro straps as tight as they would go from the beginning. After they stretched out, there wasn't enough Velcro to hold them securely and they would pop open! Also, it is a bonus that the insoles on these Aravon sandals are replaceable, love that! Lastly, I wouldn't have picked the Pewter color, it is a bit funky, like a dark grey with gold highlights in it, but I got a great price on them. After getting them, I think the color is quite versatile and goes with a lot of things. Very pleased with this purchase.

My feet love these sandals
I have arthritis in both feet plus flat and narrow feet. The Velcro closures allow me to adjust the fit to my skinny feet and the footbed offers exceptional for my fussy feet. I found them so comfortable I immediately ordered another pair of Aravon sandals.

This is my third pair of shoes in the same style 4/22 - Now on my 4th paid
Finally found something I could wear to walk for several miles a day -- and be able to wear socks when it's chilly, I now have black, brown and red -- and wish I could find more. Totally adjustable, totally comfortable.Update: 4/22: I have a terrible feeling Aravon has discontinued this incredible shoe - so I found the last black pair in my size and ordered them to keep them in reserve. Since I wear these sandals year-round, virtually every day, they will eventually wear out - and then I am not certain what I will do! Hope they reconsider and bring the style back. I get constant compliments on them!

Super comfortable, no foot pain
This is my second pair of the Aarvon Candance sandals. I have suffered, and I mean suffered, with plantar fasciitis and thought I'd only be able to wear unflattering and not very fashionable sandals. While at a specialized shoe store a woman was trying on sandals and mentioned I should try the Aarvon brand. I thought the price was pretty steep and wasn't looking to spend over $100 on a sandal, well I'm glad I tried them on. Worth every penny. I wear them all the time without any pain. Super comfortable and while not a strappy or sexy style I can wear it for super casual or dressy casual. I bought 2 other sandal styles by Aarvon but felt I'd better buy a second Candance in case they were discontinued.

The little extra height of the heel. Ames my back feel good.
I have 3 pair in this style. Comfortable I have a narrow foot and all the Aravon sandals fit me well. Probably tHe Katy is the best made. I have all of the styles in most of the colors. 20 pair so far. So you can tell I like Aravon. What I really like is the little bit extra height of the heel.

I've been wearing these or a variety of Aravon shoes for 15+ years due to metatarsal pain. It was like an immediate cure! They are not dainty shoes but my feet aren't dainty either! They have good support and leather is sturdy. Closures are velcro and can pick up stray threads but there's a gadget to clean! This Candace style was hard to find so very glad to get a new pair.

Favorite shoe for summer!
These are the most comfortable sandals in my opinion that are made by New Balance. They feel like your walking in a tennis shoe it's that comfortable. Expensive yes, but if you want comfort, they are totally worth the price. I bought these in pewter, black, and brown. I like the black especially and am on my second pair of those, however, this pewter color is very pretty and will go nicely with summer dresses or shorts. There is velcro that will allow you to adjust them if your feet swell later in the day like mine do. Aravon by New Balance I think is the most comfortable out of the New Balance sandals line but Cobb Hill is a close second.

Attractive and comfortable
I developed plantar fasciitis about 6 months ago. It is under control if I am careful about my shoes. The Aravon Candace sandals provide enough support for everyday wear, with a sturdy wedge heel and padding at the base of the toes. Not enough support for a full day's touring or hiking -- will have to wear wedge sneakers for that -- but fine for casual strolling around. The fit is fine in my usual sandal size, and they do not look clunky. I love the three velcro adjustments!
