Are Metallic ink pens the only type that will show on the black post-it?

I got colorful pens that were specifically for black paper, but weren't metallic, just different colors. Some of the colors "pop" more than others, but they work fine, but metallic pens, especially metallic GEL pens, definitely work the best.

What do you write in these with?

It is best to write with a light colored metallic ink or gel type pen.

Are these good to use to hide answers on a text book?
