I have diamond earrings, and the backs became a little loose. These work perfectly!!! The slide over the notch in the post and do not come off until you release the lock for removal. I don't have to fear losing an earring!!!

I orders these despite the mixed reviews because I suspected that the people that wrote the bad reviews did not read the description and didn’t know that it is specifically for notched posts only! I’m glad I trusted my gut. These r great! They r a bit big as some have stated but they do NOT show in the front as some have said and I have TINY ears. So tiny that when I get glasses the guy at the counter always comments on how small and cute my ears are lol! So just saying if these don’t show in the front on my ears trust me they don’t show in the front on anyone’s ears. A bit smaller would be nice but they r comfortable and so easy to put on and they def lock and make me feel secure with my expensive diamonds so I’m very happy with my purchase and def. Recommend. 🥰👍

These have destroyed my diamond earring posts, that have notches, just grinded them down and the backs have developed a weird orange color. I quite literally can’t wear them because they give me a severe rash on my earlobe. do not buy

Edit:Deducting a star because I’ve developed contact dermatitis after wearing these. So even though the description says hypoallergenic and 14kt covered, I’m not sure the claims are true. When I switch to my actual hypoallergenic fashion jewelry earrings, they are fine. It’s only when I use these earring backs do my ears get itchy, hot, and I end up with like really inflamed skin. So sad because these would’ve been perfect as they help from my earrings getting knocked off when I’m fixing my hair or whatever. So the hunt continues.Original review:I wish I knew about these secure locking earring backs sooner. That would have saved me many lost earrings. I am so so happy with these. I have only used them on my cheap earrings so far, and they work perfectly fine. I have typical 20 gauge post earrings and these fit. I got the set with one pair of silver and one pair of gold to accommodate my different earrings. Im considering buying another set just to not have to change backs so much cause I’m lazy lol.

These are just what I was hoping for! My sister got me real diamond earrings for my 40th birthday and the second time I wore them I had a back fall off them! I bought these hoping they’d keep my earrings on better, and they do! It’s silly to me that some people left a star off because they are a little tricky to get on, the whole point is so they don’t fall off, of course it’s not going to be super easy to get them on if they are a snug fit. I hold the earring backs up and down so I just have to pinch my fingers together while slipping them over the rods in the back. These give me all the security I was hoping for when I wearing my new bling… which is every day 🤗 I’ve had them for a little over a week now, I’ll probably be buying more for my cheap earrings too 🤣 also I bought the white gold and haven’t had a reaction to them and fake jewelry normally does after a few hours, I know some people complain about that too but it hasn’t been a problem for me?!

I loved these backs enough to order a second set around a year apart. I didn't pay too much attention to the order other than clicking on the repurchase option on my account. When I finally lost one of my original backs I started wearing one of the newer ones at all times. When I put it on I noticed that the back was slightly bigger than the first set and the engraving wasn't the same depth. Last month I had trouble with a 1 of my 4 ear piercings, that have all been healed for anywhere from 5 to 10 years, start acting up and seeming to ooze. Recently I switched that bigger newer back to another hole and it is now doing the same. Although I just ordered the same items by clicking buy again I obviously did not receive the same products and warn that lower quality products seem to have been sent out (albeit in 2023).

I recently bought some expensive earrings-terrified id loose. Plus got some nice earrings for granddaughters. These work GREAT! a bit hard to get on- husband had to help. But felt VERY secure with them

I love the idea of these and how they stay on, but I had an allergic reaction to them. I have never had an issue wearing any type of earrings, my ears would not stop itching with these. Also the “gold” was gone in less then a week.
